The least of our worries, I'd have thought.

The whole Thursday night thing is just **** to be honest.

Swansea are in deep, deep trouble. From being in a similar position to us last year, the darlings of the league etc, chasing European football to now being in the mire. Shows how quickly it can change.

I still can't quite get my head around Cortese just walking away from Saints, so there is probably a hell of a lot in this. He built too much up here to see it changed, and altered. The next step would be to get some mega investment into this club, the only way we could truly attempt to achieve his actual vision. Maybe this is the plan all along, as no matter what happened, we'd never have achieved what he wanted with KL's money - they'd keep us ticking over, but NC obviously wants a hell of a lot more. He isn't a bloke to say stuff at a whim, he means it. When he said......''If the family don't share the ambition or the investment, then I have people lined up who would fulfill it'' - he meant it in my opinion.

They're much better today than they were against us.

2-0 to Villa. They have been terrific.
-
Fully deserved lead for Villa at Liverpool. They've been terrific today so far. Liverpool have been pathetically bad though.

It's hard to say, but it looks as if when he made a swing to try and win the ball whilst on the ground, his leg took full impact up against their striker. But going by recent reports, it's hopefully more of an impact injury than anything else.

Latest is that Lovren isn't as bad as feared, didn't need an xray and didn't go to hospital. Gaston has gone to hospital and is waiting for an X-ray.

Good news regarding Lovren, let's hope those shin pads did their job..! -
Cue the ''We need puncheon back'' threads

Yeah, way too much is up in the air to assume we're setting up anything for next season, yet. Personally, I think it will be a summer of complete upheaval and next season won't be as good as a result, that's why I want us to make the most of this year and finish as strong as we can.

Why would we be paying anyone 90k a week??? Don't think anyone has suggested that sort of outlay. but by that same logic, should we pay a little extra to ensure we don't drop 2 or 3 places and out of the top half? All very possible.

Mental, he isn't worth anywhere near that. What a joke.

Would be a bit of a wimpy to end the season though, after such promise.

I think we'll find out the owners real intentions this month, through the appointment of a chairman and potential movement in the transfer market. The last thing I want is for this season to peter out, but if we have to play with either Jos or Yoshida at the back for a prolonged period of time, then we won't do that well. I didn't think we'd make any moves, but you have to wonder if these injuries will really force our hand a bit. I also think we could do with a tad more fire power. Our 'out and out' strikers this year haven't done it for us for whatever reason. Jay's return has been terrific, but I don't see him as our out and out striker and he's still a little cold in terms of some of his finishing. At least Wanyama is back soon though, we really miss that strength in front of the back 4.

Yeah, it has been really slow for the last couple of days for some reason.
