  1. More disappointed with De Ridder than any of our signings in recent years. Promised lots, but is actually a complete load of tosh. Offers absolutely nothing. Runs into blind alleys, loses the ball and has no end product. A non-player really. Needs to move on ASAP.
  2. Bit harsh to include the likes of Cropper, Dean, Stephens etc - all signed for the development squad, not first team signings.
  3. Falque was only signed as a stop gap as Lallana was injured, but not as bad as the club first thought - so he wasn't actually needed in the end. N'Guessan was a similar signing iirc.
  4. They missed Collocini yesterday, and will miss him again for our game on Sunday. I think he's huge for them, without him they look all over the place defensively.
  5. Nothing over the top, just a short appreciation. He turned us around and got us moving in the right direction, that's for sure.
  6. Pardew pretty much signed the spine of the team. Hammond, Fonte, Lambert. Those 3 were pivotal to where we are now, so you have to appreciate his picks there. But he also signed a few duds! Dickson, Seaborne and Mellis spring to mind. Adkins has done a fine job evolving the team around the spine though.
  7. absolute class today.
  8. You're making a mountain out of a molehill, there is nothing wrong with him. He is looking slightly less effective this year because he's up against better defenders. However, he's still out top scorer so that should say all you need to know.
  9. We won't come up against a team as bad as QPR again though, tbf.
  10. He is our leading goal scorer, so yes.
  11. It's the entire 90, not highlights.
  12. they just have, and it's us.
  13. I can watch MOTD from in front of the sofa for a change.
  14. Tossup between Cork and Puncheon. Tough call really, but I'll give it to Puncheon because of the goal. Terrific influence by Corky though.
  15. Awesome result. Chuffed to bits. We were calm when we needed to be. Assured in the tackle, quick in the movement and accurate in the possession. We were aided by an horrific QPR side, but this is a win that injects belief throughout the entire club once more. We now have 2 home games to continue this.
  16. QPR have been horrific, but we've performed as well. And we've just been too good for them, our movement on and off the ball has been too quick. Nice to see it click though.
  17. Lambert has eaten up Anton for dinner, and is just spitting him out again on every attack. Dominated.
  18. Our team shape has looked so much better since WBA away, it has to be said.
  19. lol @ qpr's defence
  20. MOTM for me has to be a tossup between Cork and Puncheon, both equally as effective and influential. Cork has turned us around.
  21. I still feel sick.
  22. ****ing yes!!!!! Get in there
  23. another corner, great hold up play by Lambert
  24. Straight at Gazza.
  25. Puncheon and Clyne look a great combo
