  1. Perfect player for their style. Will bag 15+ IMO.
  2. Good news. I must admit I don't know a great deal about him, but he seems to have a very good reputation and looks nice and easy on the eye. Happy with this one, got a hunch that we want 1 more CB/LB though.
  3. Rumour has it that Millwall want Seaborne, which would hint at us getting another CB.
  4. Yes! just my opinion though I'll add. But I don't think we're too far from it.
  5. ah ok, we're just waiting for the FA to approve the permit as with the Yoshida and Emmanuel signings. Imminent IMO.
  6. lol stop being an idiot. He's signed, get over yourself. The OS wording is just because he hasn't got clearance as yet. Which is a formality.
  7. Wow, it's head to head between me and Itchen_Dan....who will come out on top?
  8. Who knows. The rumour that Millwall want Seaborne may indicate we want more than 1 CB.
  9. I wonder if there will be 126 pages to sign?
  10. It doesn't take much to work it out.
  11. Of course. What will they offer him? 3 bags of wine gums per week? They have no money unless they receive the fee from us.
  12. Fulham being asset stripped on deadline week! Although I guess they have to make way for the mega-bucks signing of Berbatov!
  13. zero chance.
  14. Maicon to City now. Good player.
  15. We are wiring the monies at the moment...please stand by.
  16. Dawson's move is off then, as Kaboul is now injured for months. So they need to keep him now....not sure how motivated he'll be!
  17. I don't think there was ever a great deal in this to be honest. Probably if everything else went to pot.
  18. Not now that we're in the PL. No loan window for us, the squad at midnight on the 1st sept is the squad we have to fly with until January. Under really exceptional circumstances the FA may allow us to have an emergency loan of a GK, but that would require Davis, Gazzenga to be injured. We also have the guy in the development squad.
  19. It's going to be a mental 48 hours for us, that's for sure.
  20. 2 defenders f'sure then. There is no way we should be relying on Seaborne as a PL defender.
  21. I imagine with NA at the helm and our medical staff, we are very very stringent in our medicals. At the end of the day as you said, this will be worth taking time over as it is a significant long-term investment and the last thing you want is to shell out 12m squid on a player who has a degenerative knee condition for e.g I mean Hull didn't really think the Bullard transfer through did they? Or they got very had advise. £5m quid and 40k p/w, he was signed with an Injury and they released him with an injury.
  22. Oh yes, all very clever
  23. There was an interesting little story regarding medicals on SSN the other day, it showed what actually happens in the whole process. You have MRI scans, heart scans, breathing tests as well as your joints. You get all sorts of weird and wonderful injections and blood tests, and medicals are often conducted in separate parts as well - but I imagine we're doing this all in one at Bologna. They also said on Sky that no medical is always 100%, it's up to the doctors to then present evidence to the club on their current condition and if the signing would present a long-term risk. Short-term problems would often be ignored.
  24. This!!!!
