I do think that of all the players we let go who you would think would be in the 'keepable' category and that we could've done without losing from a squad depth POV then Perraud was it. KWP (proven prem quality, lucky to keep him) and Bree (previously in champ team of season I think, but certainly established as decent with Luton) on one side, ok. Manning (?) and Larios (always injured and jury firmly out on ability) on the other not so much. This was all concerning enough before actually seeing Manning play.

Yes I find it utterly and totally infuriating. There's a time and place for that kind of football. I recall one of our 6 wins last season against Bournemouth we did it very well and saw the game out. 0-1 up away with 10-15 minutes to go is the time and place. 1-0 up at home against a shite team with half the match remaining is not.

I like your reasonableness and pragmatism and sometimes I wish I had a bit more of the same things BUT when boiled down to basics all I am really seeing this season is a very expensively (for this division) assembled team massively under performing at the hands of a manager who ain't up to the job.
