I think I've already reached the resigned acceptance stage I felt under Selles. This is just so unspeakably bad, but I can't even get angry about it because its ALREADY so expected.

Yeah the only difference between this and the last 2 games is the fullbacks are playing more like fullbacks are supposed to play, not fucking 2nd wingers. The hopelessly weak midfield remains though, they are running through us at will, just not into acres of empty space.

Honestly, the way this prick has got us performing far far exceeds my worst nightmares. Didn't even enter my head that we could possibly be anywhere near this bad.

That said KWP keeps popping up in the centre circle!

This post makes some valid points but at it's heart is the implication that things will all turn round under Martin, we'll become a solid outfit under him and go on to do well and maybe even win the league. Based on what I have seen so far this season, I don't think any of that will happen. No chance. The only slight hope is we bring in a specialist defensive coach to do what Martin can't whilst he concentrates on doing what he apparently can. Anyway, we are going round in circles here Fabrice. Harwood Bellis was a key player in team that pissed this league last season largely because of its solid defence. He looked like he fitted right in to a comically bad piss weak defence last night. Has he become a shit defender over the close season or is he now playing for a manager that hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing instead of the one he was playing for last season who absolutely did?

After Sunderland and last night I don’t think that’s worth a lot tbh. Continue to defend so utterly ineptly and top half is unlikely let alone top 6.

Sorry but that’s bollocks mate. Put a competent manager in charge of that squad in this league and it’s virtually guaranteed top six. Sadly, we have a demonstrably incompetent manager.

The theory behind his appointment seems to be “Well he plays possession football, and we want to play possession football like what Man. City do. Ok his teams weren’t that successful at doing it but with better players like what we have it should work out. And stuff”.

It’s so achingly obvious he isn’t ever going to cut the mustard. Nice bloke or not he ain’t ever cutting it.

Oh don’t get me wrong he’s a nice bloke, far more likeable than Jones. But this is FAR more inept and at a lower level with greater resources. There is no scenario where this ends we’ll go for him or us. Just cut the losses, get him gone and start over yet again.
