I was told about a month ago that that he doesn't rate the manager at all. I reckon he's not happy and this is coming through in his performances. For me, he is slow off his line, not great with the ball at his feet and poor on crosses.

Game is there for the taking. They are a very ordinary side.

Puel is trying his best to build a side following the sales of Mane and Pelle. Koeman did the same after we lost Lovren, Lallana, Lambert, Shaw and Chambers. The job Koeman did here, despite the manner of his departure, should not be under-estimated.

I wonder if this has smoked out any competition? As much as the current business model frustrates me, the Liebherr family have been absolutely fantastic for our club.

9th in the league despite playing in the Europa Cup is pretty good. That competition has almost relegated teams in the past, so to be where we are is ok. We definitely need more up front though. I'm not entirely convinced the players rate the manager.

Thought Clasie was our best player on Sunday.

Sad to hear that. I played Tyro football with his son for a couple of years. Rolland never missed a game and was an absolute gentleman. Thoughts with Matthew and the rest of the family.

Much better second half. Thought Clasie was our best player. Was asking a few questions of our manager before the game. I don't think anyone else would have selected that XI. But we won the game and will have a few fresher players for the away game at Stoke.

Can't see why he'd want to stay at the moment to be fair. That said, he did sign a 6 year deal. Can't see the club turning decent money down for him though, they'd sell their own grandmothers.

Puel's tactics last night were negative and shocking. Lets hope he's intelligent enough to learn from it.

He's still a decent player. Your reward for loyal service is a free Big Mac brother. Don't forget it.

Can see both sides of the argument in this one. A player who isn't getting any younger, probably with his best days behind him. A player who has been magnificent for us and extremely loyal. Personally, I would offer him an extra year as a reward for his service. If he chooses not to take it, then he could leave with the club's best wishes.

He looks physically stronger now. Maybe that's what was missing.
