I don’t think sticking with Still just because we’ve sacked other managers quickly is the way to go. Juric was fucked from day one but did nothing to lift the club. Jones was a ridiculous appointment and had to go. But in both cases, my opinion is that their predecessors were correctly sacked. If we stick with Still, we are looking at mid-table and lucky to get crowds of 24000. Which is criminal when you look at the squad he has to work with in the league we’re in.

I think Archer is a centre forward. Armstrong has shown time and again that he can’t play there, yet Still put him there, knowing this, again. Then what does he do at the end of the game? Spors signed some really good players in the Summer. Fellows, for the minutes he had, and Scienza were superb. Unfortunately, SR are really shit at picking managers, and they’ve done it again with the ginger Doogie Howser. He has no clue how to get the best out of a pretty talented squad. Less than 28000 at the game yesterday. SR will have to act before that gets to less than 25000. It is criminal that Still can’t get a tune from the players at his disposal. I was fairly ambivalent about both Rohl and Still. No doubt that Still needs results though. I am unimpressed by him so far though. Tactics all over the place and 5 subs every game. On the plus side he did drop Stephens, THB and Bazunu. He needs to be given time. Hopefully the dressing room is behind him. Home supporters haven’t turned on him, but we’re desperate for results and performances.
