  1. My point is that these two players would be on their way to play at a higher standard whoever is in charge. Putting my 'conspiracy' head on, if the first thing Pinnacle did was to sell two of their most saleable assets after buying the club it wouldn't exactly be hitting the ground running and getting fans onside would it. Slightly different spin, same mindless b*llocks.
  2. What, at the start of pre-season training. Not really.
  3. Lots of wild theories on here about why 2 players are leaving a League 1 side to join clubs in the Championship and Premiership. It's not f*cking rocket science is it.
  4. Good point. I think this forum has been hijacked by many people pursuing personal agendas, and is not being used as it was set up for. I include you in that Guided as well. You are a poor man's Poirot, and remind me of a song by Blur (Charmless Man).
  5. You have worrying narcissistic tendencies. Are you in the mirror business, no doubt that is where your expertise lies.
  6. Jesus wept. Do you not think that Fry wouldn't have had a closer look at the money behind the bid than a cursory look. He's not selling a packet of peanuts is he.
  7. It would appear that what I said to GM about his theory being based on limited information is correct. Also would appear that Davis Extance is bullsh*tting on behalf of Jackson. What a pair of w*nkers.
  8. Your track record is as good as your mate lifelongsaint's. To be honest I wouldn't give you the time of day. Your probably still in cahoots with Jackson anyway. Crawl back under your stone.
  9. To be honest, I think £15million is a bargain. Stadium, training ground, Jacksons Farm(?), goodwill of the supporters. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me. They might even get Matt on board, who knows. He did say he would support any consortium who bought the club, and he has put a bit of groundwork in these last few weeks.
  10. I think it's more to do with his diplomatic skills.
  11. I think I can just about work your position out on Pinnacle! I don't blame you for coming to your conclusions based on the information you have. However, I'm not sure you, I or anyone have the full picture here. One thing is for sure though. It all needs to be resolved very quickly or we are f*cked.
  12. I can't see this being a hoax. Fry has opened the bidding again because he is duty bound to. I think he is trying to force Pinnacle's hand and I don't blame him. Pre-season is upon us and things need to move quickly. The assassination of Fialka by the Echo is scandalous. I don't believe they know the full picture concerning him. The hypocrisy of them knows no bounds. Especially when they continue to be the mouthpiece for a proper bullsh*tter, Marc Jackson.
  13. I think you are too easily influenced by the Daily Mail. Never read so much tripe in my life.
  14. Unfortunately, I agree with you. I don't suppose their backer is too impressed with spunking over a million quid either. Forget the Jackson 'bid'. Forget Jackson, he is a tool.
  15. So standing up and fighting for your rights in a job that you've worked in all your life isn't worth it? B*llocks.
  16. Seems to be a common theme doesn't it. I'm getting quite despondent.
  17. This is the most important issue in my opinion. We're talking about people's livelihoods. They have mortgages to pay and children to look after. Either get the deal done, or put them out of their misery. Puts 'brinkmanship' from all sides into perspective doesn't it.
  18. The Echo are suggesting that Fry may sell another period of exclusivity to get the wages paid this month. It's like a bad joke. To be honest, enough's enough.
  19. I agree. Pinnacle may be genuine but to be honest, there has to be a proper deadline in place now, or they should leave the table.
  20. Trouble is not everyone has it in them to get to the top. We can't all be bosses, there will always be haves and have nots. To anyone who works their way to the top I take my hat off to them. Just as I take my hat off to the bloke who stays in the same job for 30 years. No point slagging people off for legitimate protests and concerns. Your analogy is garbage as well. By leaving your employment for another job you are running away. If the school bully beats you up every playtime, is the answer to try and hide from him every day - or stand up to him?
  21. You seem to stand up quite a lot for Jackson. Doesn't say much for your judgement if he sucked you in as well.
  22. Only, with that attitude we'd still have Victorian working conditions and pay. I'd rather stand up for myself.
  23. Jackson will be bashing one out if he is mentioned by name in one of the tabloids.
