I can't be a supporter then.

F*ck off you idiot.

His 'poor judgement' has meant that the staff have been paid in the last few months. What is so 'poor' about that.
-
Unfortunately, I gave him every chance on the basis that even yesterday Matt was confident of the deal. As far as I'm concerned he can crawl back under his rock. The only difference, it would seem, between him and Jackson is that he managed to get money out of Crouch to pay for exclusivity. As far as I am concerned they are a pair of time-wasters. I hope his appeal not to give Fialka any grief (in case he changes his mind!) is one that falls on deaf ears. At least Crouch and Matt have the club's best interests at heart. It would appear that not many others do.

It's not hard to come up with four people who could pass that test. I would imagine if you aren't a bankrupt and have no criminal record you could pass. Crikey, even despots and gun runners have passed the test. I think Matt has been duped by Lynam. I feel sorry for him that his embarassment is so public. At least Matt is facing the music. What about Lynam and Fialka?

Nick Illingsworth talks a bit of sense here. Worth a read. http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.showNews.php?id=25382

Stick to Countdown Matt. I can't help thinking that he is complicit in stringing us along. Sorry, still a Saints legend, but a little soured after this.
-
At least we might know either way.
-
He did f*ck all except bullsh*t Fry and the Echo and got nowhere. He did nothing to help the situation.
-
Sorry, it seems I was beaten in the rush to correct you.
-
Yeah right. It's more likely that his mum wouldn't give him his pocket money, and so that was the finances he had in place up the swanny.
-
I hope certain people will now realise he was no more than a self-publicising, lying piece of dirt. He didn't have the best interests of the club at heart from day one.
-
Never, you do surprise me.
-
And thee Fry turned to his cloaked friend "Where's thou money you c*nt" I think this is from Midsummer Night's Dream.

Matt does have the club's best interest at heart. I don't believe for one minute he would be more loyal to Pinnacle. Pinnacle have had a fair crack because they stumped up the half million for exclusivity. I am sure he would support what he thought was the best bid for the club, be it from Pinnacle or this Swiss consortium. Don't hang them yet. Matt said Monday or Tuesday, so at least wait and see what happens today before hanging them. After today they are fair game.

I reckon Vorderman. She would be grateful, and so would put more effort in. She might even get you to sign up for a loan as well.
-
We'll find out by tomorrow. IMHO of course.

'It's not all work work work'. Anyone remember that army recruitment advert, I think from the 80's.
-
I like the idea of Armed Forces day. I don't think they are appreciated enough.

He's had a hell of a day to be fair. Golf this morning and Countdown this afternoon. It's hot as well, I expect he's gone home for his dinner and a nice cup of tea. Leave the man alone.
-
And it's nice that the Echo are so even-handed with Marc 'bulsh*tting c*nt' Jackson.
-
Do you think the Pinnacle bid will succeed? Poll

Matty didn't seem overly concerned on Sky Sports a minute ago. If it was going tits up he wouldn't be talking about our future the way he is. I would change my vote to yes as well. -
He's got to run round from the Countdown studio.

F*ck off. This is a thread about Countdown. Stelling is the best host since Whiteley. However, the magic Whiteley/Vorderman combination will never be equalled.
