  1. I must have heard about two or three naval/beach puns tonight made about Pompey's situation. Couldn't be any more 'gayer'. 2-0, brilliant goal.
  2. I want a job on the dubious goals panel.
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Quality!
  4. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay 1-0 to the Arsenal! "Will someone shoot that **** with the bell!"
  5. I'll go quite a late one, Pompey will drag this out...March 22nd.
  6. Gutted that Im going to have to upgrade my sky package, but cest la vie, BoB was fantastic and I fully anticipate this to be the same.
  7. That seems to be the jist of it...
  8. I'll be watching their match with Arsenal tonight with interest, I'm sure their reaction is going to be 'warm' if the owner turns up... They seem to want Gold and Sullivan to take over...if they're sensible business types, they will see that investing in Pompey isn't worthwhile at all!! West Ham are likely to be much more profitable. Or, they want to start AFC Skatesmouth with Westwood as a director...ROFL etc.
  9. I've just seen those clips, bloody idiot. I don't want Pompey to go under as then who would be our rivals?! Just some suffering and relegation to league 2 would be nice.
  10. Breaking news on SSN, Pompey deny now being asked to be wound up by HM Revenue and Customs...
  11. You're almost as good as Saint George.
  12. HAHAHAHA I think I love you St.George, you are quality.
  13. Excellent, unreserved!! Should be a good atmosphere! As it is Millwal there won't be too many 'travel club' types as they will too afraid of 'violence' no doubt.
  14. Should have moved like I did, I was sat for about 20 minutes of the first half, thought 'sod this', got up and moved down the ground until I found a decent place up the back to stand.
  15. Where do you think that pollution comes from?! China's industry which is mostly powered by coal. The two are closely linked.
  16. HAHAHAHAHA See you later saintkiptanui!
  17. The key word there is 'boy'...he was only a kid.
  18. Do you see the irony in what you have written there?! I think we just need to accept that we were ****e today and Boothroyd got it spot on and suffocated us. Antonio and James (AGAIN) were god awful. Plus, we made ourselves look like absolute moronic ****s today by berating that ballboy who must have only been about 15. Yes, I wasn't happy about it, but for 10-20 fully grown men to go up to him, threaten and verbally abuse him and have to be pulled back by stewards was ridiculous. SORT IT OUT.
  19. I live in Colchester. THE GAME WILL BE ON. Everyone stop bloody worrying!
  20. Yes, stop worrying. All snow and ice is long gone! After talking to some of my U's supporting mates, they seem to fancy their chances today and with good reason I guess; much like ourselves they are flying at the moment. I would happily take a point today.
  21. HAHA!! The fact you put 'pollution' into inverted commas makes your point redundant. I will simply refer you to the state of the Yangtze River for example... http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn1802-yangtze-river-pollution-at-dangerous-levels.html http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2006-05/30/content_604228.htm I can't be arsed to go into the effects of pollution on the Yangtze River Dolphin if I'm honest.
  22. All trains from London go to Colchester North - however, at Liverpool Street you will just see "Colchester", but don't worry that is Colchester North. (Colchester Town station is a station that serves local trains down to Clacton and you can only get to it from London if you change at Colchester North...)
  23. lol Could be worse, we could be Wigan.
  24. Okie Dokie: There are shuttle buses which run from just outside Colchester North station (near a 'Big Yellow Storage', you can't miss it) It is a £1 return and is your best bet as Colchester Borough Council love to slap a ticket on the windscreen of ANY car parked around the stadium on matchday. Parking in Colchester is a bloody nightmare, there are multi-stories in the centre of town but are miles away from the ground and the station. There is a rather large car park at the station however, and on a weekend (and I assume a bank holiday) it is £2 for the whole day. Buses also run from the pubs around the old Layer Road ground, but again, parking around there is difficult. The nearest car park to the station (in case you have difficulty finding it or on the off chance it is full up!) is the nicely named "St.Mary's" car park, follow the parking signs for 'shoppers'. To find the nearest pub to the station (as there are none as far as I'm aware around the ground) just turn right out of the station, under the bridge and you should see it in front of you. For your Yates, O'Neils etc in the town centre, get a cab from the station, should cost you know more than £7 There is also an ASDA opposite the station, where it is free to park, however it is operated by NCP so you would be taking a chance to park there. Hope this info is of some use :-)
  25. I'm AMAZED people were suprised by the lack of atmosphere yesterday. Bumper crowd of the season maybe, but the 10k extra would have been people who don't normally go and so it was never going to be a riot was it!?
