An effective means of protest in the heart of Southampton ...

Some of the comments on that page are priceless! I love Southampton with all my heart, but some of the people who inhabit it are morons. -

He doesn't like them because he is jealous he has never had three/four years of zero responsibility, getting leathered and then getting an internationally recognised qualification. Fair play to them, it got them the publicity that they obviously wanted for their cause. Much more effective than the protest I saw in Knightsbridge yesterday outside Harrods anyway! -
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA! You're such a ****ing tool! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA To have any real chance to combat the very real threat of climate change, developing nations need to cut their carbon footprint. It is unfair of us as 'developed' countries to ask them to do this themselves as we are the ones who have chucked the majority of the CO2 up in the air. To quote Blackadder: "...and I hope your mother dies in a freak yachting accident."

Why? What possible influence could the Echo ever wish to have?! The Echo can take a run and jump as far as I am concerned.
-
A load of ****

I couldn't give a ****! If I had to choose between Cortese and the Echo, I know who I would go for!

I couldn't give a monkey's toss.

This is expensive, but I can tell it's going to be worth! Looking forward to the long train journey back if we win 3 points with many other ****ed up saints fans! -
Are you Ian Branfoot?

That's a cheery read for a Thursday morning! But I agree with your sentiments 100%
-
+1. I totally agree with you, the attitude that the FA Cup doesn't matter gets right on my nerves! However, I do now start to get annoyed with the constant 'magic of the FA Cup' references the BBC/ITV make EVERY year!

Money!

Just so long as you lot don't snap up the tickets of those that attend week in week out then there isn't a problem at all. Which is why I think it was bonkers that the club got rid of the membership scheme!

I can't stand New Years Eve - it's a load of over-hyped over-priced ********. You are always 'forced' to have a good time, and more often than not end up having a **** one!

I live about 4 miles from the stadium. It's on the outskirts of an industrial/residential area. No 'real# parking anywhere near the ground, it is walkable from the station (mainline not 'town station') but it is a good few miles. There is a shuttle bus I think. My girlfriends brother says there is parking at the ground but limited and expensive. Colchester is a pig of a place to get around/park in a car. There are multi-storeys but they are no where near the ground. There is a pub that can be found by turning right out of the station but it is a bit 'spit n sawdust' though it is a cheap place to drink. Other than that you will need to get a cab into the town centre (about £7) where you will find the usual places (O'Neils etc etc).

Everyone gets an invite to the dreaded xmas doo, but to be honest, I can't bloody stand them...how long is an acceptable amount of time to be there before you can leave without being called an anti-social ****?
-
I've got to be honest, apart from living a far old way away, I much prefer away games to home games as it is.
-
Luckily my brother and a few of his mates are staying over the night, so hopefully I can grab a lift back to the station with them after the match as they are driving up, I think.
-
SURELY St.George MUST win one of those awards?!?!
-
If I didn't live 180 miles away I would happily go every week.
-
He'll just say it is part of the BBC's socialist agenda/propaganda machine. The deluded ****.
