I was just happy I got it to rhyme to be honest!

And, you don't become that successful in the cut throat capitalist world of international banking without being a bit of ******...

I can confirm that there is a thin ice sign in the pond in Castle Park, Colchester. More snow here again today, bloomin' nightmare.
-
There will always be hundreds of millions, if not billions of cows, there will not always be dolphins.

Here is my poor effort (subject to Danns signing). If you go down to St.Mary's today, you're sure of a big suprise. If you go down to St.Mary's today, you won't believe your eyes. Jose Fontes' at the back, Neil Danns is leading the counter attack, Today's the day that Lambert scores a hat-trick. I'll get me coat.

All this talk of eugenics, Jesus! The point is, I don't want to live in a world without Dolphins or Whales. There will ALWAYS be Cows/Pigs/Sheep etc. Oceanic life needs to be protected and preserved, not taken for granted.

It's all relative Ponty: Of course, a Dolphin isn't going to come up with the theory of relativity, however, they have the ability to (for example) recognise that a reflection is actually themselves rather than think that it is just another Dolphin. In animal kingdom terms, they are easily 'as intelligent as man', and therefore we should be studying them, not slaughtering them.

Danns likely to sign today

Not nice to be a Palarse fan right now... -
I think it's safe to say, that if you kill of 20,000 of anything every year, you are going to notice it. It takes about 12 months for a dolphin to give birth and about 7 years before they reach sexual maturity...

Thanks for the heads up

LOL at the northerners.

I'm sure it was the height of satire whatever it was...

On a personal level, I don't see why the Japanese once they have murdered their quota, can't release them back into the wild, rather than stab them to death with harpoons or 'drown' them by not letting them come up for air.

I was going from the figure given in the film. You really do think you're high and mighty don't you Benjii you sarcastic ****.
-
Didn't expect that this morning, excellent stuff!

I don't want to argue with you dune as I'm doing it in about 3 other threads!! Read the articles, watch the videos, and tell me you are happy funding this murderous industry...

Has anyone watched this film?!?! Absolutely, absolutely repulsive. It tells of the slaughter of 23,000 Dolphins every year in Taiji in Japan...You read that right, 23,000!!!! The IWC are ****ing useless, the Japanese government and the people responsible for this indiscriminate murder are scum and I was actually left speechless (Rare, I know). It is absolute bull**** that it is 'part of their culture', about 90% of people in Japan don't eat Whale or Dolphin meat, it's all about money, money money - They capture the Dolphins, the 'fit' ones go into captivity, the rest are slaughtered!!. I've been Whale and Dolphin watching from Kaikoura off of the New Zealand coast, and let me tell you, those animals are more majestic and intelligent than the human race will ever be! THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!! (Mods, realise this could have gone in "The Arts" but I knew it wouldn't get the attention it deserves".

Ladbrokes well in the wrong here IMO and should fork out at least half of it! It is not the blokes fault that the cashier got it wrong, and Ladbrokes should suck it up and honour his bet, they have more than enough in the bank I'm sure!! Betting companies really are scum, much like those who own casinos.

Erm, not really. If a class is already in a classroom, you have lost the upper hand straight away as (these days anyway) you have no 'effect' if you were to just walk in; it is one of the main reasons I think why the majority of cover teachers have such a problem. If you line your pupils up outside and insist on silence before they enter you are in control from the off and are the 'alpha' of the group. It's sets the tone for the rest of the lesson, if they play up while queueing you just bring the whole lot, or individuals, back at lunch time/after school. Or if they talk on the way in, just send them back out and line them up once again, sooner rather than later they will get the hint that you are not going to be messed around. Where I work, if I was to walk in and a try to gain control of say 30 year 9 pupils who were already sat down, it would perhaps take me a good 15 mins until they were all in the right frame of mind, where doing what I asked of them and therefore ready to learn. I'm not one of your 'Daily Express' types as you let well know by now, but there is significant weight to the argument I think that teachers have lost a certain degree of 'threat'. But anyway, that's not what the thread is about

Another 'big' signing, according to JackanorySFC

What a waste of my life reading this thread has been, it reveals nothing! -

Apart from littering and it generally just being plain rude. Didn't your parents raise you up to care about your surroundings?
