Yeah, that's the reason they are striking I believe; laziness! Dear o dear. Given my political views, you may find it odd that Bob Crowe isn't always to my liking, however I would rather have workers striking over safety concerns and commuters are disrupted, then no strike and another Hatfield/Potters Bar/Clapham rail crash happen

I really LOL'd, good work.

Typical cringeworthy crap that we come out with these days - sod the bloody wave and START SINGING FFS! We were slient for 95% of that match Sunday, THAT was embarrasing! When I was a nipper, I wasn't 'won over' into supporting Saints by Mexcian Waves, I was won over by the electric atmosphere at The Dell - something which these days we seem to have abandoned in favour of going after the 'armchair fan' market.
-
Hopefully I'll be getting my Saturday and Sunday tickets as couldn't give a **** about Guns and Roses - I am bored however of reading "Our server is currently down".
-
Some numpty above me (I was the the second to last row of the bottom tier) drapes his flag over, completely blocked my view (and the others around me) and initiated a chorus of "Are you taking the ****?" or "Cheers mate" - after we tried to rip it down a few times he finally got the bloody message. The sheer idiocy of it all made me laugh.

Absolute bargain if true, sign him up.

Why? What if she IS telling the truth?

Anyone who is actually driving to Wembley needs their head testing! Drive to the outskirts and TFL it in.

200 years of slavery might rank up along side it?

A good book to buy from the shop at Auschwitz is "KL Auschwitz seen through the eyes of the SS".

Fat lot of good complaining to them, especially about anything football related. I complained to them regarding my treatment at the hands of the Heddlu last year at Swansea and heard **** all back.
-
LMAO! You obviously have NEVER EVER been to Dibden!

Your personal decoration requirements for Wembley

I'm not wearing colours - not that I fancy myself as some of sort 'geeezzaaa' but because grown adult men wearing ill fitting football shirts is rather pathetic. -
From my point of view, it was more the knowledge of what happened that made it eerie - knowing that humanity could and did stoop to it's lowest ebb was a horrible feeling.

Yes to the bullet holes, no to the blood. The prisoner 'toilets', huts and the gas chambers obviously don't smell anymore, but you certainly get a strong impression of what it would have been like. The museum probably has some of the more shocking artefacts. I went in 2004 but they've probably changed a lot of it by now. It's the little things you start to notice: The odd sign here and there with a skull and crossbones on it, when you go up into the 'Auschwitz gatehouse' the grafitti on the walls from the SS guards...
-
I'm afraid I can't help you with accomodation... It is certainly worth taking the time to go there, but you can't rush it, it will take a whole day as it's split into two sites. 'Auschwitz' - where the museum is etc and 'Birkenau' - the actual death camp. The museum is harrowing and the camp is 'weird', it's true what the say; the place is silent. The sheer size of the place is also quite unbelievable and even when I was there for the whole day, I didn't get a chance to walk around the whole camp. You will (well, I was anyway) be allowed into the gas chambers and see things such as the 'fireing squad' wall so you need to have a strong stomach. I'll be honest, when I left the camp it hadn't really sunk it what I had just seen, the place beggers belief!

Driving to Newbury Park from Colchester then tube for just over an hour; it's not ideal but it will certainly do!

You've never been to Wembley before then; there won't be any of that! How long before some clever **** starts singing "Small town in Scotland" to the Carlisle fans btw? The best chants are always the ones that are the most simple: "South-amp-ton" (clap, clap, clap) is my personal favourite.
