I don’t think he can, isn’t it an elected position? She’s more popular than him anyway, he’s as unpopular as the hated hard right Farage -

They’re also saying plans are in ‘complete disarray’ as their headline tax hikes won’t bring anywhere near enough money in, if any at all. WHO would have thought it? 😂😂. The only way they can bring in what they need is by breaking the spirit of their “triple tax lock”. Increase Employers NI & freeze tax bands for longer than previously planned. They boxed themselves in when they didn’t need to & should have opposed Hunt’s NI cuts in the last parliament. This would have given them cover to increase them now. Those tax promises & their obsession with the OBR are going to cause them real problems in the short term. -
The natives 😂😂😂 You mean the Lib Dem’s that are in the wrong party. Patrons include John Major who fucked the party for a generation, Tarzan who got rid of their election winning queen, Cameron who fucked of when the going got tough (despite saying he wouldn’t),Michael Howard who lost a GE by miles & Fat Pang who, a completely useless wet. 2 of them even fucked off with Soubry to join her losers (total seats won 0). It shouldn’t surprise anyone that these chumps won’t accept the result, they’ve form for it. Boris chucked loads of them out & won a large majority. There’s a lesson for Kemi right there.

All polls indicated they wanted Kemi, so ended up with Hobsons choice. They're a bit more successful than the MP’s at picking election winners. This century No membership vote, just MP’s installing leader. William Hague- labour landslide Michael Howard- Labour landslide Theresa May- lost majority (against corbyn ffs) Sunak- Labour landslide. Members election record. Cameron- Twice PM Boris- Landslide I’d rather trust the members than the Lib Dem’s masquerading as Tories.

It obviously bothered Nandy as well, seeing as yesterday she lied and said Mrs Balls didn’t attend the concert. No wonder the rest of her media round was suddenly cancelled . New Broom -

They’ve been gerrymandering the vote for years, going back to when Portillo was kept off the member’s ballot . Just as Ed Millibands short sighted rule changes gave us Corbyn, William Hagues rule changes gve us these shenanigans. If you want to give the members a say, just vote once & send the top 2 forward to the membership.

Starmer claiming today his uncle “nearly lost his life when his ship was torpedoed defending the Falklands”. I think the fact checkers need to get to work on that one, although perhaps he was on The Belgrano -

Martin Lewis or Soggy & other posters cheering this move on. 🤔 This isn’t about Alan Sugar, Paul McCartney getting the payment it’s about people the Gov know need it, but cynically don’t want to give it to them. Gordon Brown set it up to be universal precisely for this reason. He would rather Sugar got it, than pensioners freeze to death (4,000 according to labour in opposition). -

It’s laughable how many on here don’t even understand what the main issue is. Its pensioners which the Government themselves deem are in need of this benefit but don’t claim it (800k according to Martin Lewis). It’s the least claimed benefit of any the state offer, and it’s the very poorest in society, peope who have a yearly income of less than 11k ish. For various reasons they don’t claim what they’re entitled to. Gordon Brown, Alister Darling & every Tory chancellor since, decided the best way to get the money to these people was to make the benefit universal. Reeves’ approach is fuck em, cheered on by Labour MP’s and some posters on here. Let’s hope she has second thoughts and puts measures in place to get this to the people they know need it. -

We’ll be alright mate. Sat on final salary pensions, house owners, no kids at school, it won’t be us paying for this cluster fuck. Withdrawing WFP has probably protected the triple lock & our free bus passes as well. Enjoy working till 70, you’ll be sucking that one up 😂 -
They’ve even got Baz in nets

I don’t know the ins and outs of it, but why wasn’t he given an opportunity last season. If you can come on against Arsenal away from home and not look out of your depth, then surely you could have done a job in the championship. Obviously, we were promoted without him, but maybe he could have been moulded into the team & fitted into a system for this season As I say, I don’t know the ins and outs, and maybe he refused to play lower down. But I wouldn’t bet against Lego not fancying him from the moment he walked in the door. Next game will be very telling, he deserves a chance in a winnable game but that will involve the arrogant twat changing, so I doubt it’ll happen.More likely, he get chucked on at City proving legos point that he’s not the answer.

You imagine if Dominic Cummins son was parachuted into a safe seat, given a 10k donation from the bloke who bought clothes for Boris, and was then made a PPS straight after the election, they’d be going nuts. No wonder Rosie Duffield cited nepotism as one of her reasons for resigning. Fucking hell, and these are “grown ups” with a “new broom”, they’re a complete and utter shambles. The only thing they’ve managed to do competently is take money off ordinary pensioners. From Lammy making a tit of himself to Starmer thrashing around trying to justify his scrounging, it’s been a terrible start. -
You knock it in the channels then. Lego claps when we fancying around with it, I’ve absolutely no doubt the culture he’s encouraging is causing our defensive issues. It’s not like his previous teams were defensively sound.

Shame Soggy is on one of his disappearing acts, as he called this baseless & waffled on about his work in Fleet Street. I was wrong in timing , didn’t release Starmers number 10 was quite so dysfunctional. New broom. -

Observer this morning. Despite being warned, the VAT hike on private schools isn’t as simple as it appeared. What do you expect with a 6th form debating team formulating policy. Their other front page story. Whilst discussing football regulation, over 100k in freebies dished out to MP’s, including Free Gear Kier, a third of the cabinet and 60 MP’s, 41 of which were Labour. New broom? -
Not really, if you’re comparing championship stats to premier league stats, Adam Armstrong will look good enough. Baz isn’t good enough for the championship, AR is one of Englands top keepers, there’s absolutely no comparison.
-
Correct. Not only “greater than the sum of its parts” but what about developing players, coaching them, making them better. Who is a better player for playing under Lego head? THB certainly isn’t, Edozie didn’t,Alcaraz didn’t (despite being picked in the world champions squad), Sully hasn’t. It’s too easy just to say players are shite, Bally picked up Matt Le Tiss from Branfoot & made him a better player. Hoddle improved some of the players, WGS turned Chirs Marsden & others into better players. Arguably even Jones had JWP playing more effectively slightly further forward. Who has this bloke improved? For all this pony about his coaching, he hasn’t really developed anyone, all that’s happened is some like Downes & KWP looked better at a lower level, nobody has kicked on under this bloke, except for Dibling and we’ve go no previous to measure him against, and if Bournemouth is anything to go by won’t hold my breath that he’ll get the proper development his talent deserves. A decent manager would put a structure in place that plays to our strengths, will develop players to be better, breed a bit of confidence, and will more importantly learn from his mistakes. I refuse to believe there’s an inevitability about our relegation. If Chris Wilder can take Sheffield Utd with Oli McBurney into the top 10 in his first premier league campaign, there’s no reason a decent manager couldn’t keep this group up.

Dear god, you need to get off this Baz bus.

It was because he felt there was a disconnect at the top of the club between Semmens & SR. He directly addressed this during a podcast with Simon Jordan. If I remember correctly, He said Semmens was the guy he was dealing with but didn’t feel SR were quite on board, so didn’t offer him long term deal.

He’s shite, played over 100 senior games before he’d scored in England.
