The West Bank was controlled by Jordan from 1948-1967. They didn’t seem interested in setting up this “Palestinian state” either.
  2. Every year we have this nonsense, it was Brighton last season. Neither Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford or any other flavour of the month, have done any better than we did for 5 years spanning 3 managers. Bournemouth finished 12th & 9th and everyone’s getting excited. We actually sacked a manager for finishing higher. 8th, 7th 6th & 8th whilst replacing so many top players & 2 fantastic managers was pretty remarkable. None of the “well run” sides of our size have managed that yet…
  3. It’s a bit different. At MK & Swansea he was a manager who did a middling job, not awful, but not particularly good. Like dozens of other Managers. Here he gave us a dreadful embarrassing season, but there are also many debating points, which time and future achievements are a part of. There’s posters who blamed the players we had, the board, PSR, the gap between the leagues, implied that Ivan was as bad and promoted teams will struggle from now on. Lego’s record at Rangers and other promoted team’s attempts to stay up are valid discussion points, as is that horrendous season and pathetic effort we put in. If Ivan gets into the champions league, if Sunderland and others stay up, whilst Rangers continue to fuck up, it’ll show even more who the majority of the blame lies with….
  4. 😂😂. You don’t get it. Tory voters aren’t polling for a party further right because Rory Stewart, Soubry and their ilk have left the party, if the Conservative Party was conservative, they wouldn’t be so unpopular in the polls. You really believe people think “I’m supporting reform at the moment, but if Tories were more like Grieve & Rory I’d be backing them”. Deluded 😂 Reform reflect where ex Tory voters priorities are, not where a bunch of washed up pinkos think they should be.
  5. 😂😂 A massive chorus of “Martin get ta fuck” rings out once the celebration ends…
  6. Livingstone keep giving it back to them
  7. First second half shot on target… minute 84 😂
  8. 😂😂, what’s so hard to understand. It was peak unpopularity, I thought that was pretty obvious… The bit “ the worst poll ratings since 1977” was the hint. The Senior director, wouldn’t write that, if the other names were more unpopular at other times. You’ve spent years moaning about the tories and banging on about Liz Truss, but Starmers unpopularity is “waffle” 😂
  9. 😂😂 Posters that know better than experienced pollsters. It’s the lowest approval ratings each PM achieved. Handily, it gives you the date of the rating. “Hazard a guess” or a company that’s been pollling this question since 1977 😂😂. Gideon Skinner, Senior Director of UK Politics at Ipsos, said:
  10. I see the penny has finally dropped with Still. “We have conceded too many goals, & on some we just felt we could do a bit better” Polite way of saying Baz is shit
  11. Never going to happen, another empty gesture to try and prove they’re serious about controlling illegal migration, and opponents aren’t. They’ll try and define themselves against other parties that oppose, rather than actually bring it in. If it’s compulsory, who is going to pay for this card, as they won’t impose charges on the poor. If it’s not compulsory, what’s the point. If it’s free, I presume someone will benefit from having your data. As it wasn’t in the manifesto, going to take ages to get through the Lords. Complete and utter blag…..
  12. Noddy mentality. We fucking lost. Draw against City, draw at Brighton, away win at Ipswich, draw away to Fulham were all better than fucking losing in a cup which is our opponents 4th priority….
  13. #Nod We fucking lost…
  14. That’s exactly it, it’s bizarre to think AM doesn’t want to just hoof it every single time. They will all have been coached to play first, hoof second. We had control of the ball 30 seconds before it went to AM, had 3 or 4 players played a progressive pass, the move should not ended up back with the keeper. I noticed the centre half’s kept going back to AM, when they could have played forward. It’s ok to go back with Baz in nets, but brainless to do so with AM back there. That’s on the manager IMO, because it’s too many players and too many occasions for them to be going rogue
  15. He’d know, he probably spends all day ferrying migrants around. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx2j3regpdno
  16. Who is Downs agent, and have we signed others from the same agent or agency?
