I was working in the States with a few Scousers at that time. Had an incredibly enjoyable few days taking the piss after that result. I think The Evertonians amongst them enjoyed it even more than I did.

I think I know the person they’ve approached. I’m not convinced it’s a fit, but the thinking is he can’t do any worse than Lego. I’m hearing it won’t happen until next Monday, firstly because he doesn’t want his first game being City away, and secondly, on Sunday he would like to take charge of The Dog & Duck for one last time.
-
Exactly this. Had somebody been detailed to stand there, all the players would have known. Firstly, someone would have screamed for him to get into place, and secondly they’d have been an almighty bollocking dished out afterwards. Lego head is covering his fucking arse.
-
He’s managed nearly 250 senior games at professional level, how much more experience does he need? To put it in perspective the bloke that out coached him sat has 223 under his belt. The bloke he did actually manage to get a point off this season has managed 140.

It’s not about Mercedes & trips to the Maldives. Ludicrous to think it is. 2 people close to me died early, my mate at 55 & sister in law at 60. Both had horrendous illnesses but both died taking some comfort in the fact they were leaving a start for their kids. My mate left his 15 & 13 year old with money so they could buy a house at 21 (the age they inherited). I don’t know the people you hang with, but I don’t know any of our friends that wouldn’t give up 2 or 3 years of their life ( and a horrendous 2 years at that) to give that sort of security for their kids. A lot of people who do commit suicide do so because mentally they feel a burden on their family and that their family would be better off without them.

The only substitute that wasn’t a complete and utter shit show was the bloke who Lego has totally ignored for the vast majority of the season and is our least Russball type player.

I thought we lost twice to Leicester last season.
-
Absolutely right. Anyone would do anything for their kids, including die for them. It’s not unreasonable to assume someone in a care home burning through their kids inheritance, would be temped to use this option.

Nathan Jones got Luton to the play offs, so getting Southampton into them, is hardly managerial miracle of the decade. With the fixtures we’ve had & the way they played out a half decent top flight manager would probably be sat on 7 points now. 1 was bare minimum against 10 men Newcastle, 2 nil up home to Leicester should have bagged 3 points & Ipswich home. Being kind, maybe the Leicester could have been 2-2, but a decent manager may have pinched a point off forest or Utd. So we’re looking at 5 or 6 points as being par imo. Not insurmountable on paper, but the manner of the defeats, the tactics and team selections, together with an unwillingness to even accept his “process” is wrong, means we need to give someone else the chance before it’s too late.

Fucking hell, some of our nods would clap Kim Jong Un down the tunnel if he was our manager.
-
One thing I noticed straight away was the reaction to the 2 pulls in the box. The Vardy one the Leicester players were all round the ref, I said to my mate “somethings gone on”, couldn’t see what, but their body language towards ref implied that. Contrast with Tall Paul one, supporters shouting, but not much from players. May not have made a difference, but who can honestly say VAR bods wouldn’t have thought like me, “ they’re incensed about something” , and looked a bit harder and closer at video. We’re too fucking soft and polite.

What a load of old pony. Ralph wasn’t sacked after a “few games”, there was a decline in performances from the previous season & he should of probably gone in the summer. Jones’ position was untenable and had to be sacked. We didn’t change Selles when we didn’t win a few games. You don’t keep someone clearly out of their depth because you sacked previous managers and still went down, anymore than you’d keep playing BBD because you binned off Oršić and still went down.
-
The worse thing is the fixtures weren’t that tough. Both promoted sides at home, Forest, Boscombe, Brentford, Newcastle with 10 for an hour, even Man Utd are a shadow of what they were and probably the weakest of the big clubs this season. Arsenal away is probably the only nailed on defeat (considering the Newcastle game situation). Absolutely fucking woeful tally from those games and it’s only going to get tougher.

Pelligrino has gone from our worst top flight manager to the 4th worst in a couple of years and Mark Hughes is Pep like compared to this clown.

Wood- Played for Martin before, coincidence or a manager signing? Big Les- The more he plays RussBall the worse he looks. Suga- Good addition Fraser- Legos room mate, coincidence? Taylor- Manning favoured above him 😂😂, by who? Lallana- Classiest player by a mile, nothing like Walcott singling at all. Give it up, the blokes out of his depth, with a worse record than Jones.

Don’t talk rubbish. Once they scored 1 it was always going to happen. They hit the bar, the post & Vardy got denied by a great block. They still scored 3. Once Lego made his subs, that was the moment the game changed. Not the sending off.

Nobody can seriously defend this cock now. To concede in a similar manner to the Ipswich game is criminal. His subs were woeful, he needs to go, no doubt about it.
-
There’s not much grumbling, too many Nods grateful for one season in the big time. That said a repeat of Boscombe tomorrow & the cock could be facing some clog.

What a load of old bollocks.

When The Brexit party stood down in Tory seats, Boris won a landslide. When they tried to take Reform on, they fell to an historic defeat. The Telegraph did a lot of work around this & came to the conclusion Reform cost them 80 seats. That’s a few more than Soubrys “one nation” chumps cost them in 2019.

They’re not in a 6th form debating society or a football forum, everything they say/hint at has consequences. Since the election directors of listed companies have sold shares at an average rate of £31m a week, to avoid extra CGT. Their revenue raising plans are in disarray as they just won’t bring the money in unless they take it from a broader base. These amateurs think you can raise billions by taxing “the rich”, theyre finding out very quickly you can’t. -
Exactly. The candidate that can unite the right, and do a deal with Reform will win more seats than a pinko who appeals to people who vote for other parties anyway. Tommy T & Cleverly are just the latest Rory Stewart tribute act. The Tories need to win floating voters like me back, not be the least worst Tory to Lib Dem & Labour voters.
