  1. You imagine if Dominic Cummins son was parachuted into a safe seat, given a 10k donation from the bloke who bought clothes for Boris, and was then made a PPS straight after the election, they’d be going nuts. No wonder Rosie Duffield cited nepotism as one of her reasons for resigning. Fucking hell, and these are “grown ups” with a “new broom”, they’re a complete and utter shambles. The only thing they’ve managed to do competently is take money off ordinary pensioners. From Lammy making a tit of himself to Starmer thrashing around trying to justify his scrounging, it’s been a terrible start.
  2. You knock it in the channels then. Lego claps when we fancying around with it, I’ve absolutely no doubt the culture he’s encouraging is causing our defensive issues. It’s not like his previous teams were defensively sound.
  3. Shame Soggy is on one of his disappearing acts, as he called this baseless & waffled on about his work in Fleet Street. I was wrong in timing , didn’t release Starmers number 10 was quite so dysfunctional. New broom.
  4. Observer this morning. Despite being warned, the VAT hike on private schools isn’t as simple as it appeared. What do you expect with a 6th form debating team formulating policy. Their other front page story. Whilst discussing football regulation, over 100k in freebies dished out to MP’s, including Free Gear Kier, a third of the cabinet and 60 MP’s, 41 of which were Labour. New broom?
  5. Not really, if you’re comparing championship stats to premier league stats, Adam Armstrong will look good enough. Baz isn’t good enough for the championship, AR is one of Englands top keepers, there’s absolutely no comparison.
  6. Correct. Not only “greater than the sum of its parts” but what about developing players, coaching them, making them better. Who is a better player for playing under Lego head? THB certainly isn’t, Edozie didn’t,Alcaraz didn’t (despite being picked in the world champions squad), Sully hasn’t. It’s too easy just to say players are shite, Bally picked up Matt Le Tiss from Branfoot & made him a better player. Hoddle improved some of the players, WGS turned Chirs Marsden & others into better players. Arguably even Jones had JWP playing more effectively slightly further forward. Who has this bloke improved? For all this pony about his coaching, he hasn’t really developed anyone, all that’s happened is some like Downes & KWP looked better at a lower level, nobody has kicked on under this bloke, except for Dibling and we’ve go no previous to measure him against, and if Bournemouth is anything to go by won’t hold my breath that he’ll get the proper development his talent deserves. A decent manager would put a structure in place that plays to our strengths, will develop players to be better, breed a bit of confidence, and will more importantly learn from his mistakes. I refuse to believe there’s an inevitability about our relegation. If Chris Wilder can take Sheffield Utd with Oli McBurney into the top 10 in his first premier league campaign, there’s no reason a decent manager couldn’t keep this group up.
  7. Dear god, you need to get off this Baz bus.
  8. It was because he felt there was a disconnect at the top of the club between Semmens & SR. He directly addressed this during a podcast with Simon Jordan. If I remember correctly, He said Semmens was the guy he was dealing with but didn’t feel SR were quite on board, so didn’t offer him long term deal.
  9. He’s shite, played over 100 senior games before he’d scored in England.
  10. I wouldn’t bank on it, last time he scored ( he actually got 2) he was dropped for the next match.
  11. Roy Keane always says don’t judge players against the top top clubs, as they always put it in during those games, knowing a humiliating defeat will happen if they don’t. Judge them when they’re facing games then can pick up points in. With us, it’s Brentford, Ipswich, Forest, & Boscombe. Playing well against arsenal or city mean fuck all if we draw 0-0 or lose to Leicester. We made Bournemouth look world beaters first half Monday, the same Bournemouth who gave Leicester their first win today. Today changes nothing, Lego head needs to fuck off to give us any chance of staying up.
  12. He doesn’t have to pick Ryan fucking Manning.
  13. That maybe the case, but there’s plenty of clubs that will welcome his management style.
  14. If he’s going to play like that, why isn’t Taylor playing. Fucking madness.
  15. “What we’ve been missing this season is Ryan Manning”, said absolutely nobody.
  16. I’m tipping us to win this one 55% to 45%.
  17. Putting the blame on someone you don’t like is pathetic. The facts are clear if you bother to look & take personal agendas off the table.…Lego head appointed himself to the job.
  18. Today is his 7th attempt. 8 is all Jones got, and even he won a game. Let’s look at some of our other “failures” first 8 matches. Jones-3 points Pelligrino-9 points Mark Hughes-8 points Ian Branfoot-5 points Suart Gray- 5 points Wigley-3 points Redknapp- 6 points Redknapp won his 8th game in charge, so unless we win today or beat Leicester he will be chasing Wigleys record of winning at his 11th attempt. When bare in mind that only Branfoot & Pelligrino had a pre season, and only Redknapp & Hughes had ever managed in the top flight before, it does show his record at this level is pretty pathetic. It’s not like we’ve faced a particularly daunting set of fixtures either.
  19. I found it very telling that when speaking to Sky before the Boscombe game he mentioned “we” had been on a 5 year journey with this playing style. “We” obviously not being Saints. I don’t know much about his coaching team, so it could have been his team. He could also being using the royal “we”, or even using “we” as his preferred pronoun, he’s such a cock either of those two wouldn’t surprise me.
  20. I was going to suggest a job swap, the tea lady for Russ. Won’t affect the first team much, but he’ll take so long pushing the trolly sideways & backwards it’ll be cold by the time it arrives.
  21. And surely any break clause is all that matters. If they only have to pay a year or two salary if sacked, whether you’ve got a 10 year or a 3 year contract is irrelevant. A new contract is just basically just a pay rise if the settlement period remains the same. Isn’t it?
  22. What’s he paying it back for? If it’s because he shouldn’t have taken them, then why isn’t he paying similar gifts back. Taylor Swift, but not Arsenal, his Mrs clothes, but not his glasses? If he’s paying particular freebies back because of the influence implications, why not everything from that person. weird, it’s almost as if they think by paying a few grand back people will stop asking questions. Do they really think “it was right, but I’m paying a little bit back and it’ll now be wrong” is a line that will hold. Forget the apparent freeloading, the management of this story has been fuvking amateurish in the extreme. Andy Burnham talked the most sense, said he receives invites occasionally, and some cross over into the grey area of work related/enjoyment. He gives 15% of his salary to local charities, which more than covers any that people may perceive as not work related. A sensible approach imo.

    Israel

If that was the case they still wouldn’t have killed many. Most buildings have shelters or re enforced rooms that will withstand attacks. The early warning sirens & the organised way the ordinary Israelis react to the sirens will protect a huge % of them. It’s a way of life out there, they’ve had 50 years of it. Lobbing missiles at Isreal is a compete & utter propaganda exercise.

    Israel

Are you for real? Nearly 200 missiles launched & one random bloke in Gaza copped it. Reminds me of the Peter Sellers film, “the mouse that roared” . The Iranians know full well they’ve absolutely no chance of causing major casualties, they’re just trying to provoke an over reaction from Isreal. The upshot is innocent Iranians will die but that won’t bother the people who hate Isreal, the more the merrier as far as they’re concerned.
  25. If it made the slightest bit of difference Ten Hag , Gary O Neil & Dyche would be arranging one now. “Think of the charity”, bunch of fucking Nods…..I’ll start a whip round if it means sacking Lego.
