  1. What will your cows say?
  2. Sorry, I don’t take that organisation seriously.
  3. Sounds good, will definitely do Sardinia at some point. We’ve just booked Mauritius for November.
  4. Apology accepted 🙄 To answer your question, obviously further right than the Tories. I would argue that recent Tory governments have been too centrist. I have voted Tory most of my life, I voted Labour once under Blair, I thought he was a good PM until Iraq. I voted Reform in the last election, more as a protest, it was clearly going to be a Labour government. I like Farage, I like his straight talking and wanting to shake up politics and the system. Do I think he’s racist? No, show me what he has said that is racist. Remember the racist bar can be wherever you want it to be. Would I vote Reform in the next election? Probably not, but it’s a long way off. Clearly they need to state what their policies will be.
  5. How did you do Sardinia Turkish? Did you stay in one place or move around a bit? We’re doing the lakes Garda and Como in June and thinking we’ll be going to Italy a fair bit the coming years.
  6. Well 3 out of 4 ain’t bad, I don’t wear hats.
  7. Now you’re starting to insult me, would you like to apologise?
  8. Just read my post and stop making things up.
  9. Depends if he’s racist or not. 🥺 Seriously though it’s a good question, I have no liking for Trump, I find it incredible that a man like that is President, but US voters only get a choice of two and those on the Republican side couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Biden or Harris. I honestly don’t know enough about US politics to answer, sorry.
  10. Loving your use of the word 'racist'.
  11. I bet you do! Just think how many more U-turns they could make 😃
  12. Wow! Massive news. The big concern I have had for some time is that, as someone on the right (far right, as SOG would think), the next election vote would be split between Reform and the Tories which could let in another Labour government.
  13. I think you missed the joke, you stated 'Politics needs reform', note the word 'reform'. Sorry, you did get it, eventually 🙂
  14. Yeah, good to see Farmer coming round to the right way of thinking 😁
  15. Ronnie Barker as Fletch in Porridge. I have never been able to recognise him as the same Ronnie Barker as we saw in The Two Ronnies or other roles. He was simply brilliant as Fletch.
  16. Good shout, to be honest I think pretty much every actor nailed it in Adolescence.
  17. Daniel Day Lewis in There will be blood
  18. Fascinating documentary on the making of Jaws was on BBC over the Xmas break.
  19. When will these people get the message and go back to where they came from?
  20. Farage, Badenoch, Starmer or even Corbyn as PM are all totally irrelevant to what Trump does as President.
  21. To be honest, I’m not sure Rachel does either.
  22. Some more good news, the number of hospital admissions for flu has peaked, it was not as bad as anticipated and less than previous years. Well done again Rachel.
  23. It is good news, particuarly pleased with how my pension and ISA are doing, mostly self-funded of course unlike the public sector. Remember though that the FTSE is very much reflective of global markets which is why when you see a big drop elsewhere the FTSE will mirror it. Good news all the same, well done Rachel.
