  1. Kirk spoke a lot of sense but like a lot of Americans, had a blind spot when it came to gun control and their constitution. They could always have a third amendment. Time for another look at the Jim Jefferies gun control clip on YouTube.
  2. Shame, he speaks very highly of you.
  3. I'm certainly not advocating that, and I think you know that. The point I am making is that someone who puts their children into a private school will still be paying for state schools, which is fine. I just don't think VAT should then be applied to private school fees. I'm lucky to have private health care through my company, but I'm taxed on it as a benefit in kind.
  4. Although Lord Kinnock suggested recently there should be.
  5. Because someone who pays for private schooling is still paying for state schools as part of their taxes, they don't get a deduction on their income or council tax.
  6. Has the change of policy on private school VAT exception resulted in increased tax revenue?
  7. The answer to the title of this thread appears to be……….No!
  8. No, it's utterly correct. Everybody, including governments went into panic mode, buying face masks and hand gel etc. at ludicrous prices. I remember my company wasting £000's on perspex screens. The same thing would have happened under Labour.
  9. Come on, that's just a lazy comment.
  10. I tried that with my knob, didn't work 😞
  11. The likes of you and Guardian readers would target a Tory more, the likes of Nic and Telegraph readers would target a Labour MP more, I think you know that.
  12. Slightly off topic but not impressed by the new leader of the Green Party. He has gaps in his teeth in both the upper and lower rows, when watching him on TV I find myself trying to see if the two gaps will line up neatly.
  13. Thankfully she won't be doing that.
  14. She doesn't suffer fools gladly, she was well pissed off earlier this year when someone in her own firm messed up on her house purchase.
  15. It's not unusual for a lawyer to fuck up. Many years ago there was an error on the land registry document for my property which my solicitor left for me to sort out. As a side note, my daughter qualifies as a lawyer tomorrow 🫢
  16. If it is true that the advice she was given was inaccurate, then I do feel some sympathy for her. However, I think she does have to resign.
  17. How would a farmer have knowledge of a footballers wages when they were only signed a few days ago?
  18. "Hey Dad, that's just like the one you've got"
  19. Have we ever seen a turnover of players like we have this window?

Not all of us are gay you realise don’t you?
  22. Mine has been up my bottom ever since the Fellows news broke.
  23. Sorry, I don't see why being physically fit makes you a good journalist?

The one player I've actually heard of (and seen play), impressed me when we played WBA.
  25. That is a feckin disgrace
