I think you've got a fair point there. The older heads at Pimpley will be fine with hanging around the lower leagues.. the problem is that the very early 20's and teenagers who have pretty much had Pimpley in the PL for most of their football supporting life, they honestly believe and expect pimply to be a PL club, when most sane supporters know otherwise... except for that mentalist Joe whatever his name is.....

You have to watch it if you have any semblance of affinity with the comics.. I grew up reading 2000ad, and this is ****ing brilliant.... Look, ignore the fact Pimpley are signing players who apparantly have pedigree, they are ****ing shocking... Appleton was found out last season, he had some top drawer players in the team, yet the way they played was terrible! He says what the phew want to hear. Theres a reason no-one came into poach him over the summer, no-one wanted him. Probably an "ok" youth team coach, terrible manager... he's already thrown several strops there at players he felt were not trying hard enough...
