  1. For some reason, these references to "Let's bring in Lord Pannick" makes me think of "Shall I fetch Kenneth?". It's like a leg of lamb!!!
  2. The UK Defence Attache to the UAE js called Sandy Sandilands. Fact.
  3. Perhaps. Either way, we shouldn't be giving a 30 year old with no prior management experience free-reign.
  4. Ramsey isn't dead.
  5. Does he need to be omnipresent to know there's loads of chatter throughout the analysis team about spying? That seems like a cop out.
  6. Probably Boro.
  7. Isn't it his job to have oversight, though? Seems like, if it isn't, there is a real organisational gap somewhere.
  8. "we will also be writing to the EFL to volunteer our participation in a working group on the practical application and enforcement of Regulation 127 across the Championship" A.k.a. this is rife, so watch it.
  9. Literally a criminal offence!
  10. That doesn't sound right!
  11. In theory, I don't see why not, but there is a large risk. You can be forced to give an undertaking that you will compensate the enjoined party if it turns out the injunction was wrongly granted. So let's say we get the final called off, and it never gets played because time runs out, but it turns out the injunction was not justified, we would be on the hook to the EFL for a lot of money. So it would be high risk and also likely make the club very hated!
  12. This means we can spy on Hull until 4.30 today, but Boro can only do it until 3.30. Advantage Saints.
  13. I'm not sure if they gave the evidence. Think the whistleblower may have jad evidence for those matches?
  14. Hope this is true. Probably won't make much difference in the short term but would be good to blow the whole lid off if it is widespread.

    Tonda Eckert

Why would we set lawyers on Tonda? He was a Barnsley coach then Saints u21 coach. He doesn't have loads of money. He'll be sacked and/or banned and then get a job in Germany in a year or two before popping up in a Europa League match against Villa or something whereon lots of stories can be run about the Spying Coach.
  16. In fairness, she seems to be top. Maybe we ignored her advice, or maybe Parsons had fucked things too much by the time she got involved.
  17. Thank God for that.
  18. It does feel unfair that additional charges were added on Sunday and then determined by Tuesday. Did we have time to defend those? If they influenced the play off decision then there's an angle there. But honestly, it looks as though everyone involved in this has been incompetent so I wouldn't hold out much hope. Maybe we get those discounted, but I expect the tribunal would say the points penalty relates to those and the play off sanction would have been applied anyway (although is that really likely if it was a one-off)?
  19. Yeah, whoever has been advising on this seems to have completely shit the bed, if we even bothered getting decent advice.
  20. The one illogical thing is the reinstatement of Middlesbrough.

    Sport Republic

Hard to put into words how fucking useless these cunts have been. With decent financial backing, too! Everything is in place for them and they cause disaster after disaster.

    Tonda Eckert

Always thought he was a fucking weirdo.
  23. Complete lack of management from the club to allow this to go on. If Tonda genuinely didn't know, who is monitoring him and why didn't they know? Incompetent. If he did know, who is monitoring him and why didn’t they stop him? Incompetent and/or complicit. Either way, Tonda, Spors and Parsons surely have to be dismissed pronto and Dragan needs to get a new football adviser in to help him with the rebuild. Preferably someone with experience of the English Football League, for a fucking change! Is Hodgson staying on at Bristol? If not, nice gig for him, for example.
  24. Perverse.
