  1. There it actually is, right on cue! Oh Lordy.
  2. Torres would be rubbish in League One.

    Thai food

Never went there when I was in the 'kok but was aware that it is well known. I am thinking of setting up the Cauliflower and Coil in Powys.

You'll do well to find a fat Thai.

    Top Google hit!
  8. He seems to equate being liberal with do-gooding (I don't mean that in a pejorative sense). There is no such necessary correlation. It is perfectly possible to be highly liberal and a nasty, misanthropic, sadistic ****y-pants at the same time.
  9. Awesome final paragraph but, again, I would question if he is attacking "liberalism" as a manifestation of what being "liberal" minded actually is. Presumably "Liberals" was a defined group or party and that is who his quote is aimed at.
  10. Does the guy know what "liberal" means?

    Thai food

At the risk of sending over the perfect cross for our resident sun-kissed farangs to head firmly into the back of our collective net of consciousness their tales of what (a bone - excuse the pun - of contention, no doubt, in some cases) they did last summer, I would just like to go on the Saints Web record and announce that I bloody love Thai food. Please talk, to the extent you would like to, about Thai food below. I am also interested in broadening the conversation to the food of neghbouring countries of Thailand. I would appreciate it if we could not stray into Chinese territory, however, as I think it may have been done before. I shall start: I am having Thai next Friday. Yum.
  12. It's no real surprise; those that can't etc...
  13. Very interesting. Didn't realise the Hun had dropped one just behind my mum's house.
  14. They flew to Carlisle I think (or at least they flew to some airport nearer to Carlisle than Southampton then got a coach the rest of the way).

Agreed, although would rather they gave them to Channel 4 or 5 than ITV to be honest!
  16. If people would just ignore these silly minority groups they would soon burn out. However, when the UAF morons turn up to stir the pot they only perpetuate the issue. Anyone who thinks they need to "unite against facism" or form a league to "defend England" is best off ignored.
  17. Could be some truth in that.

I would have no problem with it if it was contemporary but apparently it contained no substantive allegations on anything other than stuff that happened in the 1990s? So by implication they've got nothing on them for the last ten years? I mean, seriously, WTF is the point of that? Chez, I think you make a valid point - there are questions to be asked about whether we want to deal with these people but I think those questions would have to run deeper than that (and would've existed with or without this programme). I don't see how we can say we want no part in the World Cup bidding process and at the same time endorse the FA competing in FIFA competitions.
  19. No, not for me. It's a really enjoyable away trip IMO but on Boxing Day (**** off, anyone who wants to dispute that)? No thanks.

Exactly. I saw a programme about FIFA and dodgy payments from a sports agency company years ago. This sounds like a really lame attempt by the Beeb to expose something that everyone knew already.
  21. You won £107 for caressing a horse's dong with your wallet? LOLzzz!!! Sorry, I have no idea what's come over me tonight. Whoops!
  22. Serious answer: Two years ago I thought Ronaldo definitely had the better all-round game. Now, I think Messi's levels of consistency are superb and he is certainly looking the better player... BUT With regards to both, they have a long way to go on the international stage before they can be compared alongside the other Ronaldo, Zidane or Maradonna.
  23. Probably, in comparison to the world game. But... LeTiss was here for longer and did some purely individual and unforgettable things so he is certainly more of a Saints legend.
  24. Good point. Completely different league from Will "****-acting" Farrell.
