  1. I can't believe there are some people who haven't put him on "Ignore". Seriously.
  2. Sensible analysis but one I hoe the players ignore for as long as we have some chance, however slim.
  3. This isn't a witch-hunt but obviously the fishy-few's predicament has focussed attention a bit... it is ilogical to have sanctions for insolvency in some competitions but not others.
  4. An email campaign perhaps? Not to try to get us reinstated, just to get those cheating ****s dismissed. Not just them actually, any club in admin. Admin is likely to be an increasing phenomenon. The PL and FL, the two bedrock competitions of English professional football, have recognised that you need to have sporting sanctions to compensate for the possible unfair advantages of "financial doping". It is bizarre therefore, that the FA, the guardians of the game, appear nonplussed about insolvent clubs continuing to compete in the FA Cup when any competitive advantage is just as significant. Write to the FA and ask for clubs in admin to be thrown out. Soon... !
  5. No, we (SLH PLC) did. And I still maintain that any suggestion Barclays give a fig about PFC at the moment is down to nothing other than misguided journalism.
  6. Awesome, I've always thought Alexis was a right little sex-pot.
  7. Stop two-bit din-plugging my thread with this Grease waff.
  8. at all the guesses about stuff. It's like the old takeover threads. People would come on and say "well, if this happens then it means this because the law says this", and it would be complete rubbish. I almost miss the old takeover threads. Actually, on second thoughts, I really don't! We have one of the best owners around
  9. The company will be wound up. The club (ie the assets necessary to operate a football team, and the place in the league) could still be bought from thecompany.
  10. That's just not true. You have to consider games in hand. When you're talking about one of the top sides in the division it is silly to assume we won't take any points from the games in hand.
  11. and then having a strop when he gets exposed. It's a fun little routine though.
  12. Look, since we got our team settled, around the Bristol Rovers home match, our form has been play-off standard. Since then we've improved the team further. There is every reason, as things stand, to think we will finish very high up the league next year. Obviously if we go on a poor run for the rest of the season or something unpredictable and really bad happens that might change. For now, I think most normal people are enjoying themselves and looking to the future with great hope.
  13. I would hope to pay less tax, so fingers crossed!
  14. From a quick look at the League table there appear to be 4 teams with a better away record than us. I presume when you talked about "grinding out results" you were talking about away matches, unless you want us to "grind out results" at home (sure you'd love it). If you think 5th is a "****ing joke" then I do wonder what you would do if you were a Gillingham fan.....
  15. "It is heading for administration and that will make us a pretty good bargain, so I would imagine someone will pick the club up quickly enough." PMSL Why does he keep trying to lie? Surely now is the time to resign, bugger-off quietly and work out your defence to the criminal charges against you.
  16. I am drawing attention to the fact that we are apparently "a fukcing joke" in that department as it is quite ridiculous. By the way, what's the title of the next thread...?
  17. FFS, get your head out of cloud cuckoo land. We're not going up this season and the football league certainly aren't going to help us out with ridiculous rule changes. It's time you dropped this myopic pro-Saints ecstacy and brought yourself back down to reality. Not everything is as rosey as you would like to make out.
  18. Is that worse than a dicksplash
  19. I'm afraid I might actually die of laughter if LifelongToodlePip turns up on the news talking about his uber-rescue package for the skates.
  20. Consecutive away clean sheets and 4 points from 6 are clearly, on the face of it, good. But, the performance tonight did sound poor so it's probably only the fact that we were playing someone rubbish which helped that.
  21. TBF, he's right. I think it is unlikely to be advice that receives widespread implementation though.
