Excellent article by jimmy greaves . He focuses on one key Point for me . The fact is that the only person than can help Gascogne is himself . It has to come from within Oh I see there's an up and coming documentary on life with Gazza . Why am I not surprised . Instead of using your friends etc Gazza find you own path to overcome the addiction . It will be painful but if you don't your not hurting yourself just all your friends and family who still stick by you .

Excellent article by jimmy greaves . Another duplicate post sorry guys

I thought it was a good interview . I thought he sounded very professional on that interview . He is 100% behind the saints . And tried to bat away the question posed . If it had been an echo reporter . They would have spun it so much that they would have had Matt declaring war on the club . A very sensible interview Matt

Shame the galloping gourmet is not alive I'm sure he could come up with some excellent surf and turf dishes

I read in a decent Scottish Sunday . That Gascogne started to drink at the airport bar in Arizona . If he had two advisors with him why the hell did they allow him to buy a drink in the first place . At least they managed to get the pint off him . Although he did drink some off . If he was that close to death and entered intensive care why the hell let him out of your sight ? While I understand alcohol addiction at the end of the day and unless the indri dual has the desire and will to come of the booze . They can succeed . It's a bloody hard road . Either Gazza gets real and sirts himself out or he knows the consequences . I can see where dell days is coming from

Saint Or Sinner Nicola Cortese Drives Southampton On
Viking Warrior replied to Graffito's topic in The Saints
Total saint . Some folk only hear negativity about this man and subsequently believe and cascade the unfounded negativity to the masses . A bit like the the Southampton taxi drivers freedom fighters led by Sir Richard of chorley . Why some many folk are trying to undermine the chairman . He is very much part of the liebheir dynasty . So lets get behind the man out of respect to Markus -
Cortese and Le Tissier arrange meeting
Viking Warrior replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Norm I take your point. but what was repoerted by that garbage paper was more than questions and answers session. However Matt answered the questions , he knew what he was doing, stoking the fires knowing fulll well the reporter would print his comments. Sorry Matt you have been a tad foolish. you should have waited until the meeting and then you could have told the world how it went. As Mr mannering would say stupid Boy. I have soken to Matt on many occassions, but I do not know him personnally. He still is one of my all time favorite -

Cortese and Le Tissier arrange meeting
Viking Warrior replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Just read the Echo article , I know its the echo article , but you are still one of my all time favourites, but you should not be blabbing to the press, keep your own counsel not inflame the situation before the meeting. Yes franny is a true legend but if there is a difference between the two on a not footballing matter , then let due process take place. Matty You have not help by speaking to the echo, after all they have their own negative agenda against the club. long before NC arrived. Act professionally in this matter and not as a barrack room lawyer. -

The legal differences between a Gay civil union and a Gay marriage
Viking Warrior replied to Colinjb's topic in The Lounge
Colin you make excellent points while religions at present can veto ceremonies . I suspect legal challenges will be made in the months ahead and the churches will be legally forced to undertake marriage ceremonies sometime in the future despite what Cameron and co say . It looks like religions will have these changes imposed on them . -

The legal differences between a Gay civil union and a Gay marriage
Viking Warrior replied to Colinjb's topic in The Lounge
It's the right thing to do in this day and age . But I can't help thinking that we will now see people queuing up to make Anti discrimination claims against the church what ever religious persuasion because they will not marry gay folk in churches . So the law can well be changed thru ECHR etc to force churches mosques temples etc to undertake gay weddings . -
Looks a bit like Richard the chorley

I have been very interested since the discovery of bones under a carpark in leicester. Now they have confirmed they are Richard 111's, well done University of Leicester. Im looking forward to seeing the programme about the carpark bones on channel 4 tonight Anybody else remotely interested in this particular archaeology find? I bet Tony Robinson and Mick Ashton are kicking themselves for not being involved. What history have we got in southampton thats been covered by car parks.

thats a huge number of fixtures and even more officials and players involved. Is it possible to fix that many major football matches. I think there is a problem but surely not on that scale

Tokyo, i must admit I have not seen these reports about mental health, Just the alcohol and the fact he is drinking again Mind you he was pished when he tried to intervene in the Raol mouatt case re fishing rods and beers a couple of years ago If he has severe mental health problems then he can be sectioned for his own safety. The PFA do not need to be involved. and I have a very caring nature. I have lost two of my twin cousins through alcohol abuse and they were in their early twenties.

I see that the media are looking to get the sympathy vote for Mr Gascgoine, 24 hour care etc how much support does this guy need? All he has to do is stop drinking, he has had more support etc than most people with alcohl problems Its not an easy addiction to over come, what do others thing re gascoine?
