We are doomed (My interpretation of these headline reports) I heard the local news in orkney this morning and a similar report has been issued within orkney. and Kitthawks/ artic terns etc have taken a sharpe decilne due to climatic change and now the UN report The impacts of global warming are likely to be "severe, pervasive and irreversible", a major report by the UN has warned. Scientists and officials meeting in Japan say the document is the most comprehensive assessment to date of the impacts of climate change on the world. Some impacts of climate change include a higher risk of flooding and changes to crop yields and water availability. Humans may be able to adapt to some of these changes, but only within limits. An example of an adaptation strategy would be the construction of sea walls and levees to protect against flooding. Another might be introducing more efficient irrigation for farmers in areas where water is scarce.

Somewhere on the news it states that the plane was travelling a lot faster than was first thought . Therefore it is 1100 km away where they thought it was Am I correct in thinking that someone had control of the plane and therefore that negates the concept that the automatic pilot had kicked in ? Does the automatic pilot have the ability to make the plane go faster .? Or did the idiot who had control think he could find land quicker if he went faster ? Not realising you would burn fuel quicker ?

How do you know it was a saints fan . It could have been a spurs fan amongst saints fans cheering on the spurs and the saints fans were annoyed that he was shouting Yid army Yid army . Just a theory but I have seen away fans amongst saints fans and vice versa. It's not a major story Glasgow .

It's very sad that so many relatives are grieving following the loss of this aircraft . I have know idea what happened and hopefully once the plane is eventually located . The air accident specialist will able to give some closure to the grieving relatives . It might take several years . I'm i correct in thinking that after two years in the sea the French aircraft that went down was found and eventually the cause of the accident was established . Someone on board did something despicable aboard the Malaysian airways plane .was it a member if the. Crew , was it a passenger or passengers . I will let the usual conspirators entertain me with this story over the coming months. I seriously hope we hear more from derry , west stand etc .

For pty sake Barry voluntary OT is non pensionable however there is some case law where it has been accepted was accepted as part of a redundancy payment . That was the exception rather than the rule

Barry you seem to know every thing about everything but your the master of none . I'm not referring to zero hour contracts WTR , flexible working etc I'm talking about permanent contracts . I know about them and consolidated OT and enhancements . I have issued enough contracts in my time to know what I am talking about. I have helped or tried to help a number of members on this forum and it's predecessor over the years on some employment matters .
