  1. Could come om here and do some motivational training on this forum May be this from can look to being sponsored by Prozac
  2. Pap Can anyone recommend a Saints forum where the posters support Saints? Let me know when you find one .
  3. My opinion Duncan . Is that I welcome the guy . I have read the daily mail article and sounds like he is well suited to the club He does have a sporting background which will help in the role he has at the club . He's here to add value to the club not on the playing field . He's made that quite clear in his article . He is no SCW and will not have input re on the field matters if the article is anything to go by . The SCW experiment why some what innovative was bound to fail . raptly because of redknapp and partly because of the media I do await the announcement of the CEO as well I see the appointments as positive move by the club However Duncan I don't mean to moan about the moaners but you have to admit it gets pretty tedious when the same few ave very little positivity about the club . Several are on my ignore list but there's so much cut and paste going on you cannot fail to see it . On a positive note I did enjoy your post on the lad from Airdrie
  4. If we appointed Alex ferguson, morinio , Pellegrini et al to our club . The same people would find something to moan about these guys as well It's in their genes .
  5. We lose again and the idiots come out in force . I hope you will be pleased if he leave and half the squad leave . Moan moan effing moan , get behind the team instead of looking for fault all the time . I'm really angry the same few are spouting such constant negativity .
  6. The internet coverage is really bad out there and you will not be able to access this forum . So can I donate a £5 for your flight tickets mr Sanchez ?
  7. We had fonte injured Those stud marks looked pretty Nasty . I'm suprised he was on the bench . And Jrod was ill . I will not criticise the club . Yes I'm disappointed at the result but there are many on here who seem to take great joy when we lose . Each to his her own I guess . But some if you are going overboard with the earlier comments .
  8. OH a few years ago I was in a waiting room full of pregnant women waiting to see my wife at the time I was on crutches following an ankle operation and not one of them offered me their seat so I had to stand for about 30 miniutes before I could go through to the ward
  9. kelvin blame the feminists for this "She was incredulous, red-faced and started screaming at me". I was brought up in the age of chivalry In recent years I have got so abuse from some women for opening the doors and allowing them to go through first The times I have been told , Im more than capable for opening the door myself so for certain females I no longer open or keep the door open for them They find that rude as well
  10. Was she heavily pregnant ? if she wasnt how were the passengers and guard to know she was pregnant. If she was heavily pregnant, then shame on the passengers
  11. Mr mannering sir Mr mannering don't panic . Pike you stupid boy
  12. AS others have said a restrictive covenant can be both enforceable and unenforceable A restrictive covenant will only be enforceable if it is no wider than reasonably necessary to protect legitimate proprietary interests If it is far too excessive or has total blanket coverage, I. E . you can not work for any company with in a said radious of the existing company or a competitor for a number of years then this may be unenforceable and unreasonable. Each situation is different and you need to take legal advice . Some employers have taken legal action such as Romero Insurance Brokers Limited v Templeton and another, It depends on the wording of your contract
  13. Its seems a bit odd , ****tenberg doing this game , but the eyes of the media and his bosses will be watching this game very closely. to see how he responds and if he is favouring the opposition Whatever happens he will be under a lot of pressure during the game , I suspect his future as a premiership referee could well be decided on his performence on saturday
  14. Duncan Keep contributing to the Forum you do post some excellent posts. I think in my case I got caught up in the negativty that prevailed after Saturdays game , And there were a lot of negative threads some I deliberatly avoid , your I thought was an interesting post and while I understood your rationale , I disagree with some of your sentiments. prehaps if you hadnt used such a provocative title , then I might of not said my two pence Perhaps when Im next down we can have a pint or two Mike
  15. As I had said earlier . I know Duncan , not well but I know him, So I was saddened to recieve the nasty attacks re my post, I really thought duncan was above that sort of behaviiour, Maybe my comments were the straws that broke to camels back but it is not the first time he has had a right pop and calling forum members some very unpleasant names there is no need for that, Frank and Derry make some good pragmatic comments but duncan dosent always help himself As for his post yes may be I was a tad too sensitve re his post especially so soon after that defeat on saturday I do wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to saints, and I believe the club is very good hands and had thought we had significantly moved on from the days of Lowe, Wilde and co , If this forum is anything to go by there still seems to be a very very small group of people who want ill of the club. PS I must be a true saint as I have all Duncans, Dave Bulls and Gary Chalk saints publications including a signed copy of the ted bates book So on a positive note come on you saints Mike
  16. Duncan we have all have different views of the club / players etc its not unique to Southampton, let alone this forum I know the abuse goes on but you certainly are Premier league status when It comes to folk opposed to your views "ta for your support but people like Dig Dog or whatever his name is and CB Fry are just pathetic trolls that hide anonymously behind a computer screen insulting fans for some kind of sexual or deviant satisfaction. I should ignore them but sometimes I can't resist letting them know how truly yellow bellied they are. If one of them posted under his (or her) real name at least you could offer them a modicum of respect." I dont want to fall out with you as your a decent person but on occassions I am going to disagree with some of your views and your OP is just one of these occassions where I dont agree. My initial post on this topic was more to do with yout post title than some on the actual text your posted,
  17. WELL Duncan you said your post was going to be controversial Certainly is , and you cannot the masses to subscribe to your various points now on to your somewhat bullying insults, I have my opinion and you have yours, Some aspects of what you have said I accept , Oh and Im not some cyber warrior , You know who I am and we have shared a pint in the past, You will also know my passion for the club anyway Bandwagon Bob, your ignorance is breath taking. Firstly I have not said I want a club run for the fans or by the fans just a little more recognition. Please be good enough to actually read what I say before hitching your skirt to the bandwagon of ignorance. My sir , what wonderful words of wisdom you spout I have re read your post and your other posts, you make reference to take on the needs of the fans and accoutability Would you like us to become a leeds , cardiff , Porstmouth. I understand the point yoiu were making though, but I am not a bandwagon bob. No one is talking revolution - you made that up in your own little head, it must be the long dark nights up there. You put a controversial post up , So maybe you have taken my comment about revoultion slightly out of context. Ps nothing to do with long nights I am really glad you are pleased at the way the club is being run - presumably you are privy to all meetings and decisions or is that just blind faith on your part? Oh and I should be honoured that my book is now being allowed back in the shop, making the club money, adding to the 50 grand that Hagiology books have already made the club. I am so lucky, thank you for pointing that out, I had completely forgotten. Im pleased the hali books are being sold in the club , The point I was making is that Since NC left the owners have taken on board the issues about fans etc. You whinged on about the books not being sold etc Check my facts? - that is rich coming from a twerp like you who can't even type, spell or construct a sentence. You are not related by any chance to that old hag that used to sit at the bottom of the guillotine during the French Revolution cackling every time another head hit the basket? PS Duncan I am offended you come out with the words a little twerp, etc, I find that pretty offensive, its no big issue though, But then sometimes you come across as a barrack room lawyer, or a seventies trade Union rep . At least do the decent thing and accept each of us have differing opinions, The spelling mistakes occur when you type from an I Phone, but I will enrol in your English Classes next termRegards Mike
  18. Duncan Like you I was disappointed with the result. However, may I suggest that if you and others want a club run for the fans etc and run by the fans , then can I suggest we take a leaf out of that very succesfull club down the road in skatesville We lose a game and some folk are planning a revolution. Im more than pleased with the way the club is being run, , Its the best its been for many a year I totallly disagree with you Duncan we are not being played like pawns. and I thing you odff the mark when you say no one as listening to the fans Can I remind you. You are now once again allowed to sell books in the club shop Francis benali is allowed back Check your facts first duncan instead of comming out with a generalisation that fans are not being listened to
  19. thanks for that whitley I was referring to scotland thats where I live. Like you your either guilty or not guilty. but hopefully the double jeopardy laws up hill will diasappear of the statutes and some serious criminals can be convicted instead of getting off on a technicality
  20. Thank goodness the police are targetting hardened criminals in the highland and islands. . Murderers and physical assualt perpetrators can rest easy for a few weeks Inspector Neil Lumsden, head of divisional road policing unit in Highland and Islands Division, said: ”The seatbelt is the number one safety device within vehicles and it’s an offence not to wear it. He added: “ ‘‘Don’t risk it – because if you do we will be looking for you and you will not be able to justify your action to officers when you are stopped.” Meanwhile in Orkney the police are asking witnesses if they saw a pedestrian struck by a blue van as they dont have a clue what happened
  21. Hypo, I have a broad understanding of the justice system but dont hace a ck=lue about the final workings of the justice system and I wrote my comment before I knew the outcome of the DLt verdict. up here we have differnt terms , admonished and not proven. Now what does not proven mean guilty or not guilty. depends which advocate you have defending or prosecutiong you Time for an electronic fag,
  22. so the jury can get a unanimous decisicion so they can now go for the split decision. wheres the fairness in that Your either guilty or not guilty. I see the jury is not a 5o -50 split on gender,
  23. Spot on Halo My sentiments exactly Now, before anyone starts banging on about the lunacy of building on natural flood plains, let me say that they are pushing against an open door with me – I was dismayed to see on the news that large houses appear to have been recently built on the lower ground of the SL. I’m even more dismayed that the media seems to be focusing on these houses and their residents because in my opinion this detracts from the more pertinent situation of residents living on the higher ground in houses that have never previously flooded.
  24. Careful windows, you will get Bearsy excited at the thought of more beavers
  25. Halo Basically unless the bird house was made of steel , wyou would not erect one in your garden . unless you are sourrounded by 8 to 10 feet walls So who ever it was . then they do not know the orkney weather. Last thing I would do was stick out a bird table. during the winter months you have to lash everything down.
