Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Yeovil - (FA Cup 4th Round)
Viking Warrior replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
No pleasing some . I enjoyed the game and we won -
Boric injured his hand trying to catch Fonte's head fallowing a classic headed shot from dani but he dropped it leaving fonte with black eye . A club spokesmen said that it would have been better for boruc to let the head his the back of the net and reducing the chance of serious injury occurring

I was hoping victor would be back today . Still a good side and fonte on the bench
-
Dani O head butting skills working for the scousers
-
Looks like the Liverpool players have taken up dani o's training technique. Two just nutted each other and Andy surman
-
So that's kelvin in goal
-
I will sponsor you when I get home pancake . I'm. Off to the game to day and will be back in Orkney on Monday

Kraken I always thought the. Administrators were a bunch of chancres re SFC lots of spin but no substance . I tend to agree with derry more than you on the points that have been made. The biggest problem that the likes of sisa and co may have been influencing certain decision making process at club notable the anyone but Lowe brigade and no real forward thinking strategy was being put forward. Did MLT have an issue with Lowe and co at the time . Dave jones certainly did not see eye to eye with Matt

Barcelona . I have the same credentials as you supporting the saints , but the events over the last 2 weeks are seriously trivial matters . There have been very low moments in the past which were far far far more depressing . We still have a club in the up . One man does not make the club . I was disappointed nc left but I am buoyed by the fact we still have excellent folk running the club and nobody us about to leave . Ok I know some folk want dani sacked . My love for saints will never diminish all though I do get mega hacked off with the some of the constant negative drivel on here . Moan moan moan . But I have a coping strategy now . I try not to rise to the bait or certain individuals are in my ignore list . So Barca keep the faith and continue to support the saints

Fitzhugh out of interest. . If dani was a union member how would you as a union rep defend him . Surely the unions, PFA etc would do their best for their member With out knowing the facts would he warrant termination of contract or a final written warning ? I used to know what the disciplary process was under Lowe . But the club would still have a code of conduct that needs to be followed . There is a due process to be followed and while some on here well lots think he should be sacked there us still due process to be followed and no doubt his representatives union or other will do their best to get a compromise agreement in place to a ion going through a formal disciplinary process . His suspension in employment terms does not necessarily infer guilt but what has been Saudi so far suggests he has been some what foolish but innocent until proven guilty

Looking at the photo the injury does not look that bad . Normally with a broken nose there would peripheral bleeding to both eyes . So i maybe reports of a broken nose are in accurate as was the comment about blood every where

Spot on wee bairn . It's one of the reasons I dispensed with my season ticket . You would never know when the fixture was going to be rescheduled for TV and then the cost of flights from Orkney went through the roof

As some have said these things happen on training grounds . Dani has been very stupid . What we don't know is what had been said pirior to the build up of incident . I seem to recollect the MP said a player was having personal problems . I do wonder if he was referring to DO I would like to see the saints keep him and try and get him back on track . Somehow I feel what ever has happened this is unlikely and given the likes of nav man comments his position is now untenable . I'm not going to get in to the majority of this debate re DO. I have left that to the usual experts on this forum . Whatever happens I sincerely hope the team can move on and get the team spirit back together as soon as possible oh and a replacement for DO if he does leave

StDunko Hers a question , why would she be bringing in a management including a new CEO etc if she was about to sell . What she is doing is putting a team to run the club even more effectively and that's all she wanted . I don't know the reason why NC left but I suspect he was a lone wolf and didn't want to be part of a pack of wolves running the club . Had he have joined the pack he would still be with us .

Herbie . Is a scholar and gentleman . I have known him for many years. He has many thousands of friends. I remember going on the first saints list tour a memorable occassion. I'm sure some fellow saints listees on here may have been there and that fantastic speech about saints fans from around the world from a certain Aussie fan . That speech captured everything about saints fans and our love of the club and our history . It's because of the likes of Herbie that bring so much positivity to Southampton FC and the fans . Herbie does so much more than just stadium tours . The club including NC are are more than aware of herbies impending retirement . But I have an inkling he will still be doing tours to come as long as he remains fit and healthy .

Upweysaint I believe until she has the team she wants round her then she is unlikely to be more specific . She want them in place and as soon as they are part if the club then as she has stated she will inform us of the long term future of the club etc but not until then Let's be a little more patient . The futures bright the futures red and white

Just seen the statement . An excellent heart warming statement and positive message to us all . It's sad to see there are the usual folk dissecting every word and coming up with obscure reasoning . But everyone has an opinion . To me she has nailed her fathers desires for the club to succeed . She is committed to the club lock stock and barrel . As someone said . I would love to see her at Wembley , scarf round her neck with camera and that cheesy grin . Just like her father . That is one of the most iconic images of ML that gave me so much pleasure that day along with the other 50k plus saints fans that were there that day

Looks like severe bruising and or ligament . That looks very much like a compression bandage on his foot . Will be on for a couple of days then re xrayed . Shouldn't worry about the bruising on his leg . That's normal from an ankle inversion injury .
-
Jimmy d I think with KL she has broken through the glass ceiling and for the good of the club
-
It really hacks me off people quoting dune and the other negative Pratt . Please stop quoting them for my healths sake I think our new owner us going to be part of our club for many years to come . Nothing is forever but I really believe we have a very bright future under her tenure and leadership. She is displaying g the same excellent-qualities of her late father . Long may it continue
