heard him say it in an interview about a month ago on solent I think?! definatly said it though, my initial thought was for Maynard because of the size of the fee being banded around and leicester. could however be rodrigues or someone nobodies mentioned. on a side note solent also said fontaine didnt leave for a while after his failed medical, implying there could still be a deal, so wouldnt be at all surprised if we were waiting till Jan to see how that ankle fairs.

Well said. It's all about the future and building a team that'll play together for years to come. That is diametrically opposed to the way Leicester are going about things. If they go up the chances are they almost completely rebuild again. It's like Torres, he has to play cos they paid so much for him.

Maybe we had bid for Waghorn a while ago but is dependent on Leicester getting Maynard. That looks likely now freeing up Waghorn. Baldock was possibly just an option.
