Wow that is interesting, some of us need to remember it is only a game with the most important things such as family, health and work coming way way way ahead of over paid footballers
As much as I'd love to get rid of the bloke (and he did have a look of desperation about him last night), that is actually quite amusing. Wonder how much more they were about to pay him
just because he's perceived to be less experienced doesn't mean he isn't better than them, certainly Maclaren. SVE got a little lucky with a keeper in outstanding form.
Forrest were woefull against the hammers and looked seriously low on confidence. Their defence was poor at best and will be panicking with Lallana, Guly, Lambert & Conolly running through them.
Can't wait.
Does beg the question though, why have a bid accepted for a striker in Sharpe, go through the medical etc then not sign one at all when that was clearly the intention.
If we're going to spend big money on players eg. Dann or/and Beckford we probably should be doing it now due to the new spending/income restrictions that are to be implemented.
Got a thing for James Patterson at the moment, just finished Worst Case which was ok. His books are good for reading at night because the chapters are short if your in danger of falling asleep!!
Hadn't seen that. Did you know that if you'd invested 10k with him when he started trading all those years ago and left him to keep reinvesting it you'd be worth over 40 mill now!!!
