As far as I understand it the 10 mill figure was if he was sacked and they'd qualified for the CL. The realistic figure he'll get is likely to be much lower.

What's that got to do with it? That's not the question. We can't score and the players that have got us so far look totally off the boil/uninterested or want to play for other teams. All bar Adam Lallana who wears his heart well and truly on his sleeve. Never seen a player so comfortable with the ball stuck beneath his feet and would be thoroughly fu***d off if he left (although he certainly deserves his shot at the big time).
