  3. So how many of you have seen him play?
  4. I went on the **** in brixton and stayed at a mates flat, drawing the short straw and getting an armchair to sleep in i must have been desperate for a bed because i was woken by a couple of arabs in the flat downstairs after sleepwalking into their flat, getting undressed to my boxers ,and getting in an empty bed, my mate ( ex london saint jim holland R.I.P. ) said i only escaped a kicking because they were stunned.Teach them not to lock the door really.
  5. Raffles was a god awfull hole but always fun watching mcarthy kicking off with anyone who's face he didn't like on the door. Old oriental was good.
  6. Me too, never knew malc personally but def recognise from away days in the 80's i think. I'm sure we chatted over a beer. R.I.P fellow saint.
  7. Never met him but have heard some great stories, R.I.P. ! Anyone know what became of the legend that is dougall??
  8. Good lad sibley. Talking of that game i remember some scouser running on the pitch at the end and ****ing kevin bond for some unknown reason.
  9. It was actually a mate who started the coin throwing , we were stood by the wall seperating us from the seating in the side stand , the scouse ob jumped over to nick him but he manged to lose them sitting down at the back of the stand , a saints lad gave him his scarf to put over his face and he made it back onto clives coach , was ****ing funny watching about 6 ob desperately trying to find him but not having a clue where to look.
  10. I was a regular on clives coaches during the 80's, great memories of al scarf , simon and co . Good bloke clive albeit a grumpy bastard at times . His coaches were for the more ' shady' character but was miles better than the bingo bus, always got there early and stopped at plenty of pubs on the way home. I think the reason he stopped running the coaches was lack of intrest with the branfoot era just beginning.
