Of course. Like I said, we are not 'all seeing'. If you feel a post has over-stepped the mark, bring it to our attention with the report function and we'll deal with it accordingly. It really is THAT easy. Do you honestly think that we are able to read EVERY post on EVERY forum?

No, not 'so many' at all. Just the usual stuff from the usual suspects and they know who they are. It's not a matter of being arsed, I don't need to be arsed. Anyone with a modicom of intelligence will know what I'm talking about. If you can't see it then that's your issue, not mine.

'Straw that broke the camels back' springs to mind.

I'm not even going to warrant pointing out the hundreds of examples over the last few months. I have neither the time, nor the inclination. If you can't understand the point I'm making, I really won't lose any sleep over it.

Has it really got to the stage where Dean Windass is being touted as our possible saviour? Oh dear. Thank God he can't actually sign for us...

Ponty, I'm totally behind you on this one. Some people think it's big and clever to build a certain internet persona that gains them notoriaty and some sort of twisted respect from their equally twisted peers. It never ceases to amaze me how hard people are willing to work to become total idiots. The funny thing is you meet these people in real life situations and generally they are the polar opposite of the character they portray online. The sad thing about chat forums like this is that you'll always have people trying to make a name for themselves by throwing in some outspoken, and often plain wrong comments to bolster their internet ego. The only people that they gain respect from are those who are equally idiotic. In my eyes they're welcome to each other but I just wish they wouldn't use this forum to spout their childish, vitriolic bile. Just to add to what Pancake says, we can't read every post on every thread so if people are offended or feel thay have reason to complain about a thread then please use the report function. If we are made aware of a post that oversteps the mark it will be infracted. If we don't see it, or aren't made aware of it, there's nothing we can do.

I agree!

w00t to common sense prevailing... out with the midget!

On what basis? Interesting to hear that someone actually likes it. Read my post above about it and tell me how that could be considered better? I'm not jumping down your throat. I'm just interested to hear the other side of the argument.

Now who'd have thunk it... http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/19032009/58/ecclestone-backs-massa-title.html

Oh crap. I've left the bedroom window open! That's cool!

Might as well. F1 is fast becoming a complete farce. I was really looking forward to this season but those f'ing idiots have managed to somehow ruin it again. Tossers.

There have been many but for some reason last season was more emotional than any I can remember.

The thing is it's not all about the fastest cars winning. It's about the balance of speed, consistency and reliability over the whole season. If you've got an ultra fast car that only finishes one in 4 races and blows up in the other 3 because it's so highly strung then it's not deserving of the title in my eyes. A car that finishes every race in the season in the top 3 without a single mechanical breakdown is surely the one that deserves it isn't it? Surely?

I don't like it in the slightest. What's the point in having a points system at all? What happens if all sports adopt this system? Imagine the premiership being decided on wins rather than points? It's utter rubbish and another example of the poison dwarf messing with tradition just because Ferrari didn't win last season. If it had been in place this season then Kubica's thoroughly deserved points tally for his consistent podium finishes would have been totally worthless. Take this scenario; A driver from a 2nd tier team such as BMW, Renault or Brawn (hopefully!) put's in an ultra consistant season putting in podiums virtually every race and even winning a couple of times, amassing a thoroughly respectful points total of around 90-100 points. Someone (maybe Scandanavian) from one of the top teams (maybe a red one) wins 4 races over the season and spends the rest of the time spinning off, retiring to save engines when they're too far from the front, crashing into other people in a desperate attempt to get to that golden 1st place and generally driving like a clown. They finish the seaon on 40 points. Who deserves the title? Utter folly and a complete joke...

I've always thought Jenson was one of the better drivers in the WDC. He has a very smooth driving style and is a joy to watch with a decent car under him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good season for the team.

They might be pulling a fast one to attract sponsors! It's working though, they're getting a lot of publicity.
-
No-one expected that did they!! He's about 2 and a half seconds quicker than Hamilton!
-
I tend to agree but he has shown moments of genuine talent and looked promising a few years back. In my eyes he's just never realized his potential.
-
Now we just need to strike a fine balance.

No, it's from their 'sometimes amusing and off-beat' gossip column.

According to Yahoo EuroSport; Speaking of transfer races, Aston Villa and Everton are reportedly involved in a tepid long-distance encounter to procure the services of Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman.

We will go 1-0 up but lose 2-1.

I think you wouldn't be surprised by how many people supported it either! And to be fair, it was happening before the game and the support for the players in the ground during the game remained positive.
