No, you were baiting and looking to stir up trouble on this issue. You're simply using someone elses beef to sound off your dislikes of certain moderators on here. I have emailed Roman, appologised, and explained that the moderation and administration on this forum is done on a voluntary and unpaid basis. We try to cover all bases at all times but we're not superhuman and sometimes things are missed. As soon as I was made aware of this issue I deleted the offending thread and took the necessary action. There's really no need to start a public slanging match off about it is there?

Well done Lewis. He's done just enough this year to win the Championship and has riden his luck at times but all in all, definately deserved. I just can't wait for next season now. There will be 4 or 5 drivers battling for the title next year, it should be awesome. We'll have Hamilton, Raikonnen, Massa, Kubica and possibly Alonso (if Renault come up wth a good car over the break) all on fairly equal terms. I wouldn't say that Hamilton was necessarily the best driver this season and he has showed at times that he is still a little raw but I think he will become one of the all time greats. There are some great drivers around at the moment and it's great to see. I'd love to see a one off race series of say, 5 races, with all the drivers in identical cars. Who would win I wonder?

There's not point in trying to suggest there is a place on this forum for balanced discussion on the issue because there blatantly isn't. It's a scientific fact that women have less spacial awareness than men. I'll quite often see the wife wince as we go through a gap between 2 cars even though I can clearly see that we've got loads of room to spare.

What really ****s me off is people sitting 2 inches of your bumper in a traffic jam. Then, everytime you move another 2 inches, they move right up your arse again maintaining their 2 inch gap. What is the point? If people do it to me I'll sit there and turn the engine off and let a nice big gap build in front of me just to **** them off.

I think he's been fantastic this season and has saved our skins in many a game. I still feel his positioning on set pieces can be suspect at best but I'll not knock him too hard as his shot stopping has been a joy to behold.

I have just come back from my parents house and I have to say my Dad is very upset with your comments. I'm sure I may appear biased but as far as I know my Dad worked his arse off every day during his tenure at the Echo. He is considered one of the most respected and professional sports journalists to have ever graced it's corridors both by his peers and readers alike. I'd like to know just exactly what you base your accusations of coasting and idleness? He is really quite gutted by what you have written and I suspect he will be contacting you himself. He has always considered himself a consumate professional and is very proud of his achievements over his 40 odd years at the Echo. He feels your comments are bordering on slander and I suspect he would like an explaination. Everybody is of course entitled to their own opinion but when the basis of that opinion appears to have no real substance it has to be questioned.
