  1. What he said!!
  2. It'll be in the hundreds I expect but not as many as a thousand.
  3. He was registering his Kid into our daughters nursery last Friday so hopefully that's a good sign!
  4. Please keep the childish bickering off the main board. Thanks.
  5. Wagon you are so right. If you look at my post on this thread; http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=8792 then I think that pretty much sumarizes this forum at the moment. It seems to be a competition to see who can be the most argumentative and nasty on here just for the sheer bloody mindedness of it. It's no wonder there's so much division amongst fans.
  6. The reason people no longer post rumours or gossip on here is the fear of being torn to shreds. Some people are so cynical about the whole 'ITK thing' that they'll shoot fellow posters down in flames for even suggesting they may have a piece of insider info. Even if the rumour comes from a solid source there's so much in-fighting and outright nastiness from certain posters that reputations will no longer be risked. I know people that still get occasional *good* gossip from the inside but would never risk putting it in writing on here for fear of being shot down in flames by the usual suspects. That's a real shame and a damning indictment of how certain people have allowed their 'puffed up' internet egos to ruin this site.
  7. Spa is my favourite all-time F1 circuit. I love Brands Hatch and it's probably my favourite UK circuit. I go up there quite often for various meetings andI love sitting at the end of the pit straight. All the gradient changes around Druids are awesome! I went to see the Brit Car night-time meeting in November and really enjoyed it. One of the support races was the Lotus Elises and Exiges and the racing was very close and hugely entertaining.
  8. Be very careful that people don't think you're implying Rupert should be inside it though!
  9. I just think that although Lewis is young he show's the traits of a real driver, someone who really understands how to extract the best from whatever he's driving. The other people that spring to mind with this sort of ability are Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Loeb (Loeb is an absolute legend!) I'm really looking forward to seeing Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel battle it out for the Championship for the next few years to come. They to me are the real stand-out drivers on the grid.
  10. I like the Toyota nose personally but I'd go with your other choices!
  11. Great video. Great driver. Just a shame that he wasn't racing 20 odd years ago when F1 was at it's peak. Drivers had balls in those days and it was soooo exciting. The whole thing's just 'too nice' for a driver like LH now days. That's why he's not liked. I can't wait for this season. I think the new car config's are going to see a few of the big names struggle when all their driver aids are taken away. It could all be turned on it's head this year. The 'real drivers' will shine I reckon.
  12. To be fair they're all pretty ugly. The slicks and body tubs are nice, they look how they should. All those aero flicks were frankly ridiculous. It's just the wings that look horrid! This is by far the nicest attempt so far;
  13. Probably a snapped cable. It happened in my Laguna.
  14. Pilchards. Hopefully, if the first one happens the rest will follow!
  15. If you weren't so heavy handed in dishing out your views on here you may find you'd earn a little more respect.
  16. Exactly. Evolving is all about learning from previous mistakes isn't it? Anyway, democracy has won and the thread is now a sticky so you can be happy again! For what it's worth I'll be there.
  17. Having had a discussion with the admin team we will put this up as a sticky as there seems to be a lot of people that would prefer we did. In the interests of forum democracy I will make it a sticky. Please be aware though that this demonstration is not being approved or promoted by SaintsWeb Ltd in any way and is only being made a sticky by popular demand.
  18. It's not official but probably has the most coverage. There are getting on for 1300 members on Facebook now but obviously people who are not on FB need to be made aware. Local news may run with it if the Police clear it.
  19. 'Controversy' has single-handedly killed previous incarnations of this site.
  20. I will see you there mate. Well, hopefully not as they'll be too many people there to find you! (we can hope!)
  21. The letter to Wilde was put up after a lot of pressure from other posters and with a disclaimer attached. We really weren't sure whether to put it up but we voted and up it went. The thing is you almost seem to be claiming that we don't care about what is happening to the club but if you personally know any of the admin team on this forum, you'll know you couldn't be further from the truth.
  22. I think that probably sums it up really. This is supposed to be an unbiased place for people to discuss the club, as Bungle says. The admin's all have their own *strong* personal feelings on what is happening to the club but we cannot be seen to use the forums name as a tool to vent these opinions.
  23. I lie not! He said that he knew Wotte and was familiar with his work at Feyenoord but as has been pointed out, it could be down to poor English and he is merely stating that he had not 'met him' as such.
  24. No Alpine. It's not even slightly ridiculous. We have to remain unbiased otherwise we get the usual cyber-warriors claiming we have a Pro/Anti* Lowe agenda. Surely you're intelligent enough to appreciate that. It's not really rocket science. Oh and by the way, I'm surprised you can't make it seeing as you feel so strongly about it. * Delete as appropriate
  25. Sorry, not my bad English, I was just quoting him!
