  1. Probably Honda. Just because they've become rubbish and don't seem to know how to become unrubbish again.
  2. I had one of those too in green. I'm assuming it's a Mexico.
  3. Sold now anyway but thanks all the same for pointing out the error of my ways.
  4. Is the CPU heatsink sat firmly against the CPU? If it isn't it'll power down virtually straight away. Take the fan/heatsink off the CPU and clean both sufaces thoroughly (preferably with an alcohol wipe) Apply some new heatsink grease and put the fan/heatsink back on, making sure it's clipped in firmly to the motherboard. That might cure it.
  5. Sold - Wahoo!
  6. If you could give me an idication of this so called plan I'd appreciate it. All I've seen so far this season on the pitch is unorganised chaos. I'd personally welcome the likes of Billy Davies (despite the fact I think he's a ****!) with arms as wide as the Grand Canyon. I'd also like to see a couple of experienced Championship campaigners brought in on loan to balance up the inexperience. I'd then like to see a team playing in a 4-4-2 with the a balance of youth and experience. Oh and just for the record I'd also like to see Skacel brought in at left back with Surman at left midfield... please?
  7. The fact is no-one is going to want to come here. There's no money, no players and no fans turning up every week. There is only one place this club is going this season and it's down to Division 1 and no manager (unless they're VERY desperate!) is going to want their name muddied by hopeless failure. It's simple really. Our manager just needs to decide on a formation/tactic and stick to it (preferably 4-4-2). He then needs to pick the 11 players that are best suited to these positions and play them there. Pending injury or a hopeless lack of form he needs to play them there every week. During the 90 minutes he needs to keep them in the position they started in and not play them in 3 different positions during one game. This will hopefully prevent the farcical football that has prevailed so far this season with players looking out of their depth and confused as to where they're supposed to be playing and what their job is on the pitch. I have no doubt we have some talent in the current side but until Jan finds some sort of stucture and logic we are hopelessly f**ked.
  8. You have to chuckle; FLOPS OF THE WEEK (4-4-2) Oh dear. Portsmouth were abysmal against City, and their performance is fully reflected in this week's Flops XI. Eight of Harry Redknapp's side are included, including the goalkeeper, three-quarters of the back four, a similar ratio of the midfield and half the strike force. And to think both David James and Jermain Defoe were in the Team of the Week just seven days ago. Sol Campbell has the dubious honour of being our Flop of the Week, proving that you can't let six goals past you and get away with it. Only the now obligatory Newcastle player - it is David Edgar's turn this week - West Brom's Chris Brunt and misfiring Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko break up a Pompey clean sweep. 1. David James (Portsmouth) - 19 2. David Edgar (Newcastle) - 23 3. Nadir Belhadj (Portsmouth) - 22 4. Sol Campbell (Portsmouth) - 18 5. Sylvain Distin (Portsmouth) - 19 6. Younes Kaboul (Portsmouth) - 19 7. Sean Davis (Portsmouth) - 22 8. Chris Brunt (West Brom) - 24 9. Armand Traore (Portsmouth) - 20 10. Jermain Defoe (Portsmouth) - 22 11. Roman Pavlyuchenko (Tottenham) - 20 The scores are their average independant ratings awarded out of 100.
  9. Out of depth
  10. Just an 8v. They didn't release the 16v until '93.
  11. Tidy 1992 Golf GTi for sale. The early run of the mkIII. Lower than average miles (108,000). Rare Alpine White. Serviced and MOT'd in July (10 months MOT & 3 months tax). Very tidy for year - no rust. £695 OVNO. PM me if you want more details.
  13. Not personally! I'm sure I've seen him in there though. Is he fat and Welsh or is it an ironic nickname and he's skinny and Scottish? I don't get in there that often to be honest, despite virtually being able to see it from my front door!
  14. The George in Regents Park for me. In fact I can virtually stumble there with my eyes closed in seconds! Much improved since the new landlord took over and kicked all the trouble makers out. They serve a good pint as well...
  15. No can do on the friendly. I get married the following day in Cyprus!
  16. Oh, and I've got a very tidy 1992 Golf GTi 8v going for £750 if anyone wants it! It's a rare white early mkIII model with well below average mileage. Just sailed straight through it's MOT with no problems.
  17. Hmmmm. I would say £5500 is VERY optimistic. £4-4500 would be more realistic! I'm selling a 2002 Renault Laguna Dynamique Sports Tourer (top of the range with leather, 17" alloys etc) with full service history, 12 months MOT and 9 months tax and I'll be happy with £1700 to be honest. Car prices are truly awful at the moment as no-one is buying.
  18. And created by the same team behind the greatest car of all time, the McLaren F1. Not sure that Jason Plato is a big fan though!
  19. The most utterly pointless and impractical car for years. Just what a supercar should be - it's great!
  20. Just checked them and they're 85 mbs. PM me if you're interested Baj, Like I said you can try them out first before you pay for them. You can have them for £20 the pair. http://www.solwise.co.uk/net-powerline-pl-85pe.htm
  21. Baj, I've got a pair you can have cheap. You're welcome to try them out first if you want to trial them. They're not boxed but they've barely been used. We sent them out to a client but they never arrived (bless the PO!) and eventually ended up back with me so they're surplus to requirements! I'll have to see what speed they'll support (I think it's 100 mbs). We've used them for ages as one of our clients is a porta-cabin supplier and all their buildings are either cabins or modular buildings. As long as you don't have flaky electrics they are bloody brilliant to be honest. An absolute life-saver in my line of business!!
  22. How weird. They've just turned up now to do it. How freaky is that!
  23. We get ours cleaned and disinfected once a month. Only costs £30 a year. Job done!
  24. Me

    Watches

I wear one of these. It's a quality all round watch and nice and chunky. It seems to be indestructible (no matter what I do to it!), it's automatic and very waterproof (to 200m). Only cost me £150 so good value as well.
