Have to agree about the home socks. The shirt does look better when combined with the full kit. I think this clarifies that we have to get used to the idea that Saints will play in all red for the imminent future. That would appear to be our kit design going forward now and if you accept that is the case, this one isn't actually too bad. I have to admit I do quite like the away kit. I think it looks quite smart.

We'll get 7 more points from 2 wins and 1 draw. We'll beat West Brom, draw at Sunderland and beat Stoke. We'll lose everything else. Not sure 38 points will be enough this year though? Fingers crossed and all that!

Pochettino's red and white army scans OK too.

I was going to come on here today and write a post about this but you have worded it pretty much exactly the same as I would have. Thanks for saving me the effort! You're right in every way. What is a protest going to achieve other than distract the team from their Job in hand tonight? 3pts is the number one priority. Nicola Cortese is very much aware of how upset the fans are but no matter how many people wave a white hanky tonight, I can assure you he ain't going to change his mind!

It depends on whether he has any pride? If he just wants to sit on the bench, polishing the medals he made little or no contribution towards, then good luck to the man. Just maybe he'd like to be playing regular first team footbal and doing something meaningful on a weekly basis?

You must be gutted. No chance of him returning to your lot for the 3rd time now then.
-
Surprised but not because he doesn't deserve it. Just because he plays for us!! Well done Adam.

Don't like the all red but really like the away kit. The white top should have featured in the the home kit.

Dean Hammond - Brighton Season Long Loan Deal
Son of Bob replied to Big_Bald_Si's topic in The Saints
He's been a great player whilst he's been with us and has made a healthy contribution to our recent success. I would say Charlton would be the ideal destination for him and I wish him the best of luck! -
I'm sorry but you couldn't make this kind of stuff. It's hilarious! People just can't help themselves. When I started this thread I thought to myself 'I wonder if it will descend into the kind of thread I'm talking about. Wouldn't that be ironic'. I guess the answer was obvious really. It just takes one or two to join in and it's handbags at dawn again. Honestly people - for the love of God, give it a rest. Un-ber-leavable.

1 thread down 163 to go...

No but they've managed to move this one off to a forum where no-one else will read or comment on it. Do they seriously consider this to be a forum suggestion?

Been there too. At least it was funny back then (well, most of the time anyway!). Saintsforever did get a bit explosive at times but it was rarely boring.

Exactly. That's what I meant in the original post. It's not just the usual suspects joining in. It's everyone then moaning about the usual suspects jumping in, and the usual suspect then jumping in to defend themsleves against the people moaning about them jumping in... and so on... and so on.

And respect to him for doing that. Problem is it's difficult to tell if he's making a sensible contribution or just being uber-sarchastic now!

Spoken like a true ex-admin! Would never have happened in our day would it?

I just use the first page rule now. When a new topic has been started just read the first page of posts. After that the usual suspects will have started contributing and it will have morphed into the same dull 'have I heard that somewhere before' bickering that is sadly the norm these days.

Rather than have multiple threads covering numerous topics in this forum let's just have one giant thread. Every single so-called discussion started on here descends into the same mind-numbingly boring arguments, being argued by the same mind-numbingly boring 'forum personalities' so why waste time with seperate topics? They all end up in exactly the same place anyway.
