Can we have a watch list pls, where we can list all our favourite threads to quickly see if we have a reply...

Didn't we do quite well against them in 1976? Something to do with a cup of some sort. Might be mistaken though....

how very, very, very, f\/cking sad. Reminds me of the ****-wits who quit their jobs to protest about the Twyford Down thing. ****ing long-haired, smelly lefty greeny ****-heads. If they want to live in the ****ing dark ages then fine by me. They will find most of Africa is still living in caves with out any modern infrastructure. The only thing is that I know a few Africans and I would not wish to impose these environment fanatics on them. Personally I think a good strong concrete wall, a few blindfolds and a machine gun should sort them out.

My wishes for 2009: 1. We work out that ball and net are meant for one another. 2. We work out that getting three points is a GOOD THING. 3. We stay in the CCC. 4. Skates get relegated. 5. Gordon Brown gets relegated. 6. Sexy blonde nymphomaniac gets promoted to my bed. 7. Lowe leaves SFC for ever. 8. Lowe takes over at Fratton Park. 9. Winning lottery ticket promoted to my wallet. 10. Israelis and Palestinians kiss and make up...for good.

How about signs outside the ticket office saying: "Beware of tickets! Could lead to serious boredom and disappointment."

***Early warning to our senior members***

It is not fact. Many highly eminent scientists have come out against the Global Warming Myth. Just because the media says it is so, does not make it fact. -
Frank Lampard. Then I could say: "Frankly, that Lamping wasn't very 'ard..." Guffaw...guffaw

He is already an MBE. Should be knighted for lamping a manurista

The latest lesson in 'how to be a pikey parent' comes from Mansfield where two pikey parents took their baby on a seven hour bender. Christ, some people shouldn't even be allowed to breathe let alone breed. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/nottinghamshire/7804354.stm

Ah Ha!

You are kidding? The flybe penalty shoot out is for kids. Most of the shots don't even reach the goal let alone cause any one an injury. You couldn't make it up...

Camera taken away from you in Birmingham? Probably just trying to half inch it..

Hurrah! Some one got my not-at-all-subtle dangling hook! :D:D

Even more ridiculous is the shiny new, meter high Elf 'n' Safety hazard board which now finds its way behind the goals during the warm ups. It is big, black and yellow with that hazard-tape zig-zag around the edge and it reads (and I am not making this up): "Danger! Professional footballers warming up. Possibility of injury due to fast moving balls" Now call me dim, but I reckon most people will be expecting to see fast moving footballs being kicked by professional footballers when they go and watch a professional football match. It really does sum up the spirit of the times when clubs have to go to this much length to satisfy the Elf 'n' Safety Nazis. I'm thinking of taking a picture of it at the next game and send it in to Richard Littlejohn. Of course, I will have to get away with taking the picture in the first place!

seconded.

but he will be fully booked in Manchester for years to come!!

True. I only support the Saints so that I can feel miserable when they lose and then come on here and have a good moan. So much better than leaving the ground after seeing them win. Thank God I support a crap football team.

sorry, don't know what just came over me. Bad fingers! I've told you before not to go near a keyboard when you're in a stirring mood!! Shame on you, you disgraceful digits! For the record: Lowe Out.

Dear Rupert, Please don't listen to the silent minority of so-called 'fans' who want you gone at all costs. You are doing what is right for the club at this its most difficult time. Your keen business skills are exactly what are required to turn our fortunes around. You are a principled man who has shown a lot of nerve and integrity in the way you have dealt with the club over the years. It is only a shame that some of the other shareholders and the vocal minority of 'fans' are so blinkered that they can not see that. If it wasn't for your foresight we would not have the Academy which has produced a young squad with huge potential who are now playing exciting, breathtaking, football. Thank you for all your tireless hard work and dedication to the club, keep going and here's to a great 2009!

And more importantly if Strachan was still with us would we beat Celtic at the moment?

He will still sell his "exclusive, sensational" story to the Sun.

Things I'd like to see in Southampton? ...a goal or two being scored!!... but seriously... I'd like to see the return of a cross-channel ferry operating out of Southampton. Ideally to Normandy. I go over to France every now and again and at the moment have to go from Portsmouth. Enough said. There used to be a channel ferry from Southampton.. can't remember its name though. I guess the problem is the length of time it takes getting down the Sound and past the Isle of Wight, a problem which sailing from Pompey doesn't have. Would probably add an extra hour onto the journey.
