  1. I've got a bad feeling about this one. Think we are going to be found out.
  2. Boll0x. Not good. Come on Schneiderling
  3. I've only ever played Halo Reach game on my xbox. Only really bought it to use as a DVD player storage thing. Came with Halo Reach which I found while clearing out a cupboard. Played it a few days ago and got addicted. Finished it now. What other games are there? Any suggestions?
  4. Adkins out. FFS we are league leaders, why aren't we 4-nill up already?
  5. Lads, I just discovered a very pleasurable way to waste a few more minutes in the shower. If you got one of those shower heads which you can turn to focus the flow into a powerful jet then try power-showering your balls. It must release some kind of chemical thingy because it really is very pleasurable. Lasses, don't try this as it might go up your spout and mess up your insides.
  6. Yellow! Yellow! Yellow!
  7. That we can agree on. Women have no place in football. Except maybe doing the laundry.
  8. There a feking big river in London. Can't miss it.
  9. Frankly we should bring back Poortvliet (or whatever his name was). He was undoubtedly the most successful (who>) manager of all times ever. Total football. Totally.
  10. I like chocolate. Anyone got any chocolate?
  11. Sunshine you want to get your self over to my thread... we stay-at-home-away-game few. As for streaming. Go pay for the Saints Player and get the full game.. only costs £4.39 ish a month. Well worth it.
  12. Dude, if I was you I would tell oldest-nipper that his younger sibling and his mam are just plain wrong. Misguided. Keep the son-the-elder close to your heart, and never give up on son-the-younger. There are stories of prodigal sons returning to the true light, just pray that the the younger gets to see this light. As for the missus. Well for God's sake man. If she is sheltering under your roof, then she damn well does what you say. And that is swear to the Red and White. Did you not vet this bint before poking her? Crying out loud. Now she's got one of your nippers turned agin you.
  13. didn't want a ticket. .... who am I kidding, of course I did. Alas, logistics got in the way of my want. Still, screw them self-righteous 'I've got a ticket brigade'.... Up the Saints-Sofa-Supporters!!
  14. Our thread's better than theirs... our thread's better than theirs.... come on Dubai? Alpine? Where are you? In the words of Delia... 'Where are you??' Our thread's better than theirs...
  15. From all the supporters of my thread, may I wish your thread the very best of luck. Sincerely, 1976_Child (who is sooooo looking forward to having a full weekend at home)....
  16. After Barnsley, Leicester, Derby, Reading, Palace (cup), Coventry.. .. I am really looking forward to a stay-at-home-away-day. Going to clean the bathroom in the morning, go down my local for a jar or two and a pie at lunch (and remind the Albion amongst them, the score), and then retire to my sofa (via the off-licence) to listen to the dulcet tones of Merrington et al comment on how our our magnificent boys get on up at Bristol. Any one else looking forward to supporting the lads from a far? Tell us your day! Let's have a 'get us sofa-supporters in the mood for it' thread. As just mentioned, I will be cleaning my bathroom in the morning. What will you be doing, before kick off? Come on You Reds!
  17. I would like a 'partner' to come with me to the F.A. and hold my hand in solidarity for them. Any offers?
  18. Has everyone who applied for a pompey ticket received a confirmation email from the ticket office yet? I sent my application well in advance of the cut-off by recorded delivery but have not yet received an email. Anyone else in the same boat? Thought I'd check before I hassle them.
  19. It was a complete disgrace. If it had happened in France no way would they shaft their own people by placing an order in a competing country. There is potentially enough demand for new rolling stock to have kept Bombardier production lines humming for a decade. But our government - too strongly wedded to the belief in 'free markets' shafted their own people.
  20. I thought he was a striker. Says he is a defender.
  21. Wouldn't the box have that special water tracking stuff? As soon as you open it you get contaminated and the money turns purple so you can't use it? I thought all of them did these days?
  22. Well just how hard can it be to train someone to be able to look at a passport, deduce that it is a genuine British passport and/or has a vaild visa? That is all we are talking about here. "Are you a British citizen?" "No" "Do you have a valid visa?" "No" "P!ss off. We're full"
  23. Dune, do you really think the government is cutting expenditure fast enough? Over this parliament the real, inflation adjusted, amount of spending will actually increase. They aren't cutting diddly-squat. All their figures are based on the ludicrous assumption that we will enjoy steady growth of over 3.5% per year out until 2025. This is nonsense! All the signs are that the country will be back in recession next year. Now, I am not saying it is the government's fault. Personally I do not believe that the country should be borrowing to stimulate. But the facts are still as apparent as ever: the deficit hasn't got a monkey's chance of being cut. The UK is still on the path to utter ruin. It is just that other countries are so much worse off. The entire Western world has been engaged in the biggest ponzi scheme in history. We are addicted to growth. The fiat debt-based monetary system we have is mathematically dependent on infinite exponential growth. This system was kick started in 1971 in the US. Really it is only the last 40 years that the world has been using this monetary system. At first, all appears wonderful. But very quickly it blows up. That is where we are now. There is literally no way out except a complete repudiation of the debt. That is politically impossible. There will be conflict and/or totalitarianism before it is resolved. Just look at the US. They are currently running annual deficits of $1.5 trillion. A bi-partisan commission was established to find ways to cut (or increase taxes) $1.2 trillion over 10 years. They were unable to agree anything. That is only $120 billion out of a deficit of $1.5 trillion. And they couldn't agree. The US is on the road to ruin. Every single western nation is utterly screwed. It is the end of the game. The mathematics don't lie. And these are only the actual spending of today, not including the promises made to the citizens about health, pensions etc. Nor do they take into account private and corporate debt. There is too much debt everywhere, and not enough production to support it. And we are all praying for growth, growth, growth! And not just any growth, but turbo-charged infinite growth! Well, just where does this growth come from when real wages are falling and there is no one technological revolution (like the internet, or motor car) to kick start it? Answer: it doesn't come. We are so stuffed it is funny! They only way out of this mess is a complete debt repudiation. Followed by living within our means. The government - no government - will ever even think about this. That is why it is going to fail.
  24. Because they kept on banging on and on about how they were going to be tough on immigration from day one. Then low and behold as soon as they get elected all the election promises go out the window. That is the point I am making. That they lied. But this issue should be above party politics. That is why I don't care whose fault it is. Just saying we could do without the outright lying, greasing their way into power on a pack of lies.
  25. I only buy a newspaper on match days. I hate the Sun and everything it stands for, but for the price it still has the best saturday footy reporting to mug up on the train. I am, however, deeply embarrassed by it. So I do buy the Independent too and hide the Bun inside it. The indie is a fantastic paper. Exceptional quality journalism especially international reporting. Online I read the Telegraph and Guardian. But I hate the guardian. It is just loopy-loos Nottinghill luvvies like that odious Polly Townbee. She is totally loaded, has a villa in Italy and a huge house in a respectable north London area and has the feking nerve to lecture me on her champagne socialism. She is the embodiment of why I hate the Labour party these days. The party of the people has been taken over by these spineless luvvies who wouldn't know work if it bit them on their over-pampered arse.
