First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a communist; Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a socialist; Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a trade unionist; Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- because I was not a Jew; Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak out for me. (Martin Niemoller) The actions of the police on Saturday was nothing less than disgraceful. The crowd was happy, in good spirits and looking forward to the game unfolding. Then some berk of a police officer sticks a camera in our faces. The atmosphere in the Northam - including the Orient lot - and the Kingsland corner turned sour, just like that. If these idiot police have nothing better to do than that then God help us. Unless we, the citizens, of this country stand up to these jack-booted wannabe-nazis we will very soon find no one left to speak out for us. It should be every Englishman's duty to legally, but vocally, confront these thugs where ever they are and never offer them any assistance. It is my firm belief that the police are NOT on our side. They are becoming evermore repressive as the years go by. Time was that they were 'citizens in uniform'. Not any longer; now they are a law unto themselves. Whilst I may help an individual officer if he needed my assistance in a personal matter, I would never, never help the brutish institution. I have nothing but utter contempt for the police force.

yeah? and? so what! Maybe I might just happen to like a nice, young, hard, pierced Brazilian ramming one home past my central defence...

Yeah but he got an ear ring and a grimace. Means he is f\/cking hard as nails. And he is Brazilian which means he has very few pubic hairs. Bring him on, I say..

Last of the Summer Wine for me. Dunno why. I've always had a thing for old women in 1950's dresses.

There are probably quite a few Mac OS X V 10.6 in, or around, Valley Park. Good to know that the fair folk of Valley Park are using the best OS ever written.

He's 6'2.5'' tall so should be useful in corners... my personal bug bear in these lower leagues, we need height..

Schneidelin was very poor yesterday. Just came back from playing for France U21 so may have had something to do with it, readjustment, different game-play, knackered etc.

Werthers Originals?

Me too. I would happily see Papa back with us.

quality translation. Hope they can arrange every last brick carriers which are obviously still missing to this light aircraft.

maybe, but he has an ear ring. And a bit of a grimace. Might want to supplement his income by donning a hoodie and ruffing up pensioners in Shirley.

... that would require a member of the bar staff being permitted into the concourse at 10am. (Not that hard really!)

yes, agreed. Someone old and physically mature enough to know what to do yet still young and fit enough to keep running for 95 minutes. -
Papa's dance was awesome!

...interesting that this is another Italian club in focus, what with Papa coming on loan from Fiorentina. Perhaps we have a talent scout with a liking of Italy...

Carlsberg is utter sh!te at the best of times. When it is left in kegs between games it is even worse. Quiet why we still have this monstrously puke-worth lager served to us is beyond me. Let's face it, Carlsberg is a beer of yesteryear. It used to be a good session beer at 3.4%. The, just to keep up, they thought that it needed to be stronger and so they wrecked the taste by pumping up the ABV. The trick with the beer inside the ground is to have a few before the turnstiles. And then order a wee top in the pint; it really does help to take the edge of it.

******. He's Brazilian. So why hasn't Manure or Sheik Ali Bin Cheque-Book de Manclechester Citeh or Givsky My Dodgy Rusky Stamford Bridgsky Credit-cardsky signed him. We will never, ever, ever land a modern day livin' and breathin' Brazilian. Nah.

Puncheon will be a bit like Euell, in the eyes of us fans. How many people here hated Euell 3 seasons ago? Yet his last season for us he was awesome. And now he is in the Prem. Give the boy Puncheon some time. He looks good in most areas of skill, but needs to find the final 5%. He'll get there.

The title of this thread is 'One of the things we need to do to win is...' Naturally, there is never 'one thing' which would bring results; but each of us has at one time or other left the ground after a disappointing game - like this weekend's game - and said 'if only...' As the instigator of this thread I will give two: 1. Corners: very poor at receiving corners in the box. 2. No one ever takes a shot outside of the 18 yard box. So let's hear your thoughts. What one thing....

Saint's Web Ltd have once again shown that they are an aspiring, yet immature, company. They have closed a perfectly decent thread about abusive actions towards women - or given by women towards men. A thread which was - in a not unexpected fashion - shining a light upon the very pertinent, prevalent and persistent fact that women do beat men and not all domestic violence is perpetrated by the man. Once again the directors of Saints Web Ltd (A FOR PROFIT LIMITED COMPANY WHICH HAS TAKEN MY MONEY) and their employees have shut me out of a PRODUCT (the forum thread) with out even given their CUSTOMERS an explanation. I am not happy; I want to know that Saints Web Ltd have received my complaint. I am a paying customer. I want to know who the Mods are (a list of handles, not names) prominently displayed on the site. I want a Customers' Charter, detailing how Saints Web Ltd will deal with us customers and how much power the Mods have over our threads. Do certain Mods have more power than others? At the very least, as a paying customer, I expect that when a thread is closed by a Mod, that an explanation is given as to why. The explanation should reference the Customers' Charter and the Company's Usage Policy. If any transgression of either was made in this case then we should know. We use your product, we pay to use your company's product. We are customers. You are trading as a for profit Ltd company. A bit more professionalism is required.

I'll get right on it. Nothing fancy to start with. And all the mods from here are banned from the outset.

Maybe I'll start a rival forum where nothing is censored, except overt posts encouraging criminality. And I wouldn't charge either, so we can get a real good virtual ding-dong going with some retard skates.
