  1. Another excellent bowling display - hopefulyl we can start doing this in the CC when it resumes.
  2. I would have thought that Sharp was seriously over-priced at £3 million plus!
  3. I have two friends who have season tickets in the Itchen - I would like to get one this season next to them (there are no season ticket holders there at present). My friend has asked if i can do this and the answer is no - they can renew up to 14 July and then I would have to take pot luck on getting the seat next to them. I will try to do this but if i can't then I probably won't get a season ticket at all as i don't want to sit on my own for every match. I am prepared to pay the premium for a new ticket. This is quite a big investment for me as I live 145 miles away and will have to travel down for the games at a fair cost. The policy seems very inflexible and is likely to result in the club being worse off. It seems a funny way to run a business let alone encourage genuine fans.
  4. Leicester do seem to be doing soem serious investment - I believe that Mackail-Smith is now on his way as well.
  5. Great result tonight against Sussex - brilliant slow bowling.
  6. yes - why isn't there?!
  7. Very VERY poor display.
  8. Pearce strikes me as very ordinary and lacking in flair - typical England manager.
  9. I fear the SKY curse again.

  16. I think this a real shame - i hope it isn't yet another one that comes back to haunt us when we seem him playing in the PL for another club.
  17. Good news! let's hope we keep him.
  18. Hopefully the weather will pick up for the weekend.
  19. The weather is a real shame for the first test match at the RB - still two bonus hours play today.
  20. I just checked up - I was actually at the first IoW festival as i definitely remember Arthur Brown, the Move and Jefferson Airplane who i later saw at the Bath festival. Happy days!
  21. Fascinating! My first match was 1959 when i was at Bitterne Park Juniors. I was also at the second IoW festival - I seem to remember Hendrix and Arthur Brown amongst others - by which time i was just leaving Taunton's.
  22. Another good result - maybe things are looking up
