As an exile who visits frequently I think that Southampton has been very very badly planned and run - it has enormous potential as a conference centre and a visitors' town but the council seems totally clueless and unambitious. What a missed opportunity! What a mess!

I am delighted - i thought we would do well this season but this has exceeded all my expectations. My only concern is that we are letting in too many goals - but then we have a goal difference of plus 13! Fantastic.

My only concern about Saints is that we are conceding a tad too many goals - 12 so far this season i believe.

I am afriad that to me NC comes out of this as childish and truculent, with little or no appreciation of Saints' history.

I am delighted at the direction the club has taken since Markus bought us - NC has clearly been good for the club but he does sometimes seem to behave in rather truculent ways that bring no credit on him. Matt Le Tissier is a genuine Southampton legend and ought to be afforded some respect by NC.

It would be nice to see him play for us before he gets nicked by Arsenal
