People have been telligng me for ages that luke Shaw is an outstanding prospect. Let us hope he does not go the way of the others mentioned in the article and leave Saints to realise his potential elsewhere - Bale, Walcott, Oxlade-C, Best and Surman - and there are others too.

MOTD is awful in my view - boring clips of boring teams with over-paid mercenaries - and the so-called pundits are just totally predictable. I think Lawrenson is the worst of the lot - they all need replacing with some new blood.

Cryptic! Big Ron was the best centre forward at that time - I remember his performances to this day.

Schneiderlin has a lot of class and a lot of potential to develop further - he will do well in the PL with Saints.

I think he will be yet another very good player to have slipped through our net - in a few years we may see him in the PL.

Guly is a great player - when he turns up. I have seen him play fantasically well this season but I have also seen him struggle. I defended him against detractors in the match against Doncaster but i thought he was pretty poor against Pompey. He scored two great goals against Palace and long may it continue.
