Well done saints - we looked as good as they did - but we had so much possession and didn't score which is worrying.

Well at least it is only 2-1 - although we have been second best for most of the half. No attacks down the left (where's Shaw?) - we need some pace to taek them on. Morgan has looked awful to me and is now carrying a yellow so could be sent off.

I am going to put some money on a Saints win but in fact I fear the worst for our goal difference. Still you never know - 1 May 1976 and all that.

Fox is not up to it in the PL - anyone who saw all the early games when he was LB would agree - he was invovled in giving several goals away as he was skinned or when headed the ball right back into the attackers' feet.

Yes this is right - as the Don has implied he had to be very brave to stab his friend in the back! The more one learns the more one realises what a dreadful odious man we now have as our chairman.

I just hope the present squad are good enough to stay up - I still think we need more pace and goal-scoring ability up front as J-Rod does not seem to be delivering and poor old De Ridder is almost the opposite of an impact player coming off the bench.

I doubt he will be with us in two years' time - Cortese will get rid of him. Cortese seems to be modelling himself on Abramovich who has got through 9 managers in ten years - Nigel Adkins may turn out to be the longest serving manager under our great leader.

I have heard very similar comments. Cortese is a control freak of the highest order and seems to treat people as means to an end rather than observing usual courtesies. No doubt this helps to explain why he got rid of Adkins who had a mind of his own. I have heard he treats staff at the club in a highly condescending way.

Great first half - Ramirez was outstanding. We should have scored several. Second half - went a bit off the boil - Shaw was outstanding as was Morgan. Cortese just looked smug, arrogant and ridiculous.
