Well let's hope you're right and that he can step up and take his chance. He looks tooslow and cumbersome to me - and gives away too many own goals, penalties and free kicks - but maybe he can come good.
I was surprised that the gate was so high as a lot of people, including season ticket holders, said they weren't going following the Leeds debacle when we put out such a weak side. It was a shame we did so poorly in front of quite a big crowd.
Well I hoep that he bucks his ideas up - i was not at all impressed by his perfromance against Chelski. We need a top-class keeper otherwise we are goign to lose a lot of points we should have (which we have done already).
I think this is ridiculous - if they can't manage two games in a week there is something wrong with them. Last time the players had a fortnight off they were dreadful against Sunderland - better to play more often not less.
Pretty poor performance by Saints - second best and ltos of hopeful punts. We definitely need some more quality if we are going to be able to compete with the top sides.
Excellent disciplined performance - BUT we should have won! Generally the defence did brilliantly, the midfield were generally very good and attach OK - slightly disappointed in Puncheon and Guly. But well done to all involved!
I think that goal-keeping erros (not all by KD) have cost us around 10 points this season. You simply cannot give this number of points away through bad keeping and hope to prosper.
