It is absurd for peopel to boo any Saints player coming on to the pitch - personally i think they are beyond contempt and i do not regard them as real Saints fans at all.
I have had my criticisms of Guly in the past but yesterday he did very well when he came on and looked sharp - some lovely touches and runs.
Puncheon was very good - both full backs were very good too. Guly was also very good and I do not regard those who booed him as true Saints fans at all.
I don't think there is much doubt that Puncheon was MoM follwoed by Shaw and Clyne. I am surprised at people going for Cork - I am a big fan but yesterday I thought that he had a poor first half by his standards and was only a bit better in the second.
If this is the PL then bring back the Championship!!
We played far too deep and needed to bring on some pace. I am a big NA fan but he does spout soem garbage after mateches sometimes!
What a terrible referee and linesman - truly dreadful! J Rod was not offside and we should have had at least one penalty as well.
But what a great performance by Saints!
Well played Saints! I think we'll be OK - we played very well against Swansea and deserved all 3 points and would have got them but for mr marriner who was a dreadful referee.
I am not convinced by any of them - if we are going to flourish we need a top class keeper. At present i would go for Gazzaniga but I am not convinced.
He was a dreadful referee and Lallana's booking was absolutely ridiculous to the point of being risible. On our side the officials got lots of decisions worng on fouls, throw-ins and many other things. Awful referee.
I thought we played pretty well on Saturday and we were clearly the better side - except we didn't make it count in terms fo goals and then gifted them their goal. It was a much better display and Shaw did well with Cork MoM. Encouraging.
