Well done Hampshire! Which other side has won both the T20 and 40 overs? I watched it on Sky - it was really gripping. I thought most of our players did very well - eg Chris Wood who bowled very well (with the possible exception of his last over). The last over was really nerve wracking but Kabir Ali came good on the last ball. It has been a great season in the limited overs competitions. Great stuff Hants!

Another championship match lost - and as far as i can see dropped catches played a big part. I saw Ervine drop the simplest slip chance off Dawson - I think even I might have managed to hold on to it! Surely professional players should be able to hold on to more chances than many Hampshire players do?? Let's hope for better tomorrow.

Well I do think that our batters are generally too inconsistent. That said, a win over Derbyshire is by no means impossible given that we have taken two wickets just before lunch.

It woudl be nice to get a point or two, but I would be utterly appalled if he were sacked. I would regard Cortese as a nit wit.

Despite the wonderful successes in the limited overs format I am disappointed that we have not done better in the 4-day contests.

I have to agree with this - our tail seems to be too long and we need some runs from Bates on a regular basis.

Lost - too many low scores - I fear that promotion is gone.

Yes - give Shaw a game as he opportunities arise - I really do worry about Fox in the PL.

Our defence is simply not good enough - 8 goals shipped in 3 matches. Ugh.

If redcrapp comes back that is me finished - after 53 years being a Saint. It would be too much to take.

After the first 15 minutes we were pretty poor - I am worried that NA did not seem to have a plan B until 15 minutes from the end when Rodriguez came into the centre from the left side where he had been wasted. Clyne was good and so was Schneiderlin - some of the others really do not look like PL players. Hopefully this will be a wake up call.
