Imho, the players certainly didnt bottle it; we played a team with prem-quality strikers who made all of four chances and took them. We made countless chances, but with a third-flight team agains a top-flight defence......the minute we had to start chasing the game it was always going to leave us open for a hammering, I'd love to know what might have happened if Waigo's header hadnt been clawed off the line early on.
And yes, painful as it would be, given the choice I'd rather lose to them twice but go up in auto than hammer them twice and stay in the NPC. Hopefully we'll get the best of both worlds.
