Hands up...... whose been upsetting brighton fans again?
scotty replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Lounge
Poor lambs. I feel their pain. On the upside, articles like this will certainly help to alleviate the chanting. I for one will consider their feelings at SMS this season before asking whether their boyfriends know theyre here, etc.... -
Thats a good point, remember after the manure game half of us were saying they were in great voice and the other half were saying hang on, I didnt hear a peep out of them?
-
That transcript was a wind-up. Saw a few links about it when he cropped up on c*ntscorner.com, it looks convincing but it was actually written by Chris Morris's team.
-
For your 42nd post in 5 years, that is impressive. Nice one

That boro thread is genuinely amusing. Lets hope the oppo continue to underestimate us and predicting away wins at SMS, after all we're obviously pushovers at home

I'm really looking forward to tuesday, I love those evening games. Cant see a goalless draw myself, but we'll have to outscore them; didnt they crack back at us from 4-2 down last season and nick a draw at theirs?
-
There was a spoof about him, written by Chris Morris and The Day Today crew. Google paul merton jimmy saville and you'll find the "transcript". I have no idea why they did this. However I have wondered whether it was an oblique attack about something they actually believed to be the case, thats the only reason I can think of for them dreaming it up. Take a look, its interesting reading. http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/rogerb/jokes/HIGNFY.txt

The voice of reason. Well said. If nobody bought the hideous rag it wouldnt exist, a pox on murdoch and all his works.

+1, but I'm not going to kiss him.

I realise that this is a serious and interesting thread. However, its worth pointing out that whenever I hear the phrase "all in it together", I cant help thinking of the Pirates. Mick Green, RIP.

Dont be sorry, I'd have picked another username anyway if I'd only spotted Scottsaints tag of "the only gay on the forum". ffs

I trust I'm not getting dragged into this. SSOTN is on his own on this one.

That is genuinely funny. Nice one.

I like the disclaimer. Nice touch, that

A convoluted one this, but Elvis Costello wrote Girls Talk for Dave Edmunds back in the stiff records days, and he had a country rock type hit with it. Very nice it was too. Heard a studio version by Elvis and the attractions, it was ok but not as good as the Edmunds single. Then, if anyones bothering to keep up here which I doubt, I heard a BBC 'sight and sound' show where they simulcast the show live on tv and fm radio. The Attractions keyboard player was away or sick or something, so they drafted in Martin Belmont from Graham Parker and the Rumour, not on keyboards but as an extra guitarist. (wake up in the back there.) They played a blinding set, starting with Temptation which is still my favourite version of that song, and also Girls Talk, which was the highlight of an absolutely brilliant set. I'll have my meds and go back to sleep now.

Old retired sailor heads down to pompey docks, for old times sake he finds a prostitute and goes back to hers. He gets at it as best as he can for his age, after a few minutes he gasps "how am I doing?" Prossie says "well youre doing about three knots". He says "three knots? what does that mean?" She says "youre knot hard, youre knot in, and youre knot getting your money back" Before anyone complains, this is knot aimed at delldays

Forte. Needs more playing time, or just not good enough?
scotty replied to CWD's topic in The Saints
How long was he actually at Scunny? Surely NA must have known more than any of us about him, why would he have brought him here on a 3 year deal if he didn't rate him? -
