  1. ......careful mate......
  2. speaking of barcelona, whats with the freddie mercury avatar turks, are you on the turn?
  3. I think the clump is now the chilworth arms, and is currently being refurbished for the umpteenth time? If we're talking southampton/eastleigh area, you really cant beat the Concorde. I know its a club, but the Moldy Fig bar is open to the public, theres plenty of parking, easy to get to, and the food is better than just about any pub ive been to. Cricketers isnt a bad shout and neither is the Swan, but theyre not in the same league as the Concorde. Nearer the southampton side, theres always my regular watering hole, the Ship at redbridge. Good food and reasonably priced, can recommend it thoroughly. Gets very busy most lunchtimes.
  4. Marmite icecream is probably todays special at the Fat Duck. Blumenthal has a lot to answer for....
  5. putting a 3 foot adder in your ex's porch is illegal mate, i hope you didnt get spotted on cctv.
  6. I quite enjoyed "fergie, you're a c*nt" myself.
  7. How do you rate him, Hutch? I've been impressed with him so far, but I seem to be in a minority.
  8. This is the first time ever that I havent felt nervous about Micky Adams being suddenly available.
  9. Add another vote for the sash, or a mild variation of it.
  10. I demand a recount.
  11. ironically, to stop himself asphyxiating. ffs indeed. I do actually have a letter from Stephen Milligan on house of commons notepaper. Keep it quiet.
  12. That was my first thought as well. I would have wrecked her back in the day, its a shame john major ruined her.
  13. I said "I think" he said it, but I could easily be wrong. Thought it was on a radio solent interview just after Dale signed on loan, I wouldnt put my mortgage on it tho.
  14. Be honest, you only went there because you read about it in Viz and its apparently now called the Curry Capital.
  15. According to one of my sources, (and I make no claims for his sanity,) I have personally worked and continue to work for several high-profile lizards. No joke, he is deadly serious.
  16. .....and thats how it happened, your honour.......
  17. I think Nigel said in an interview that it was a loan with a view to a permanent deal. The manager and player may have been hedging their bets, possibly DS had promotion down as a factor in whether he'd sign or not. Will be interesting to see what happens, I thought he looked a very tidy and useful player in the few games I saw him. Not many players set the world alight in their first few games for a new club.
  18. Perhaps thats where you got your balletic prowess from
  19. Wasn't Adam Hammill one of those players who came here on a seasons loan to give him playing experience, but without any suggestion that we would ever be able to sign him permanently? A bit like Danny Guthrie?
  20. Thats where you're wrong. They had to fake the moon landing in order to divert attention from the lizard aliens that crash-landed here and infiltrated humanity. Its so obvious even a child could see it.
  21. This type of post really drives me mad. The sheer, lazy inaccuracy of it :x:x:x IT WASNT A LEMON, YOU FOOL, IT WAS A BIT OF SATSUMA WRAPPED IN ORANGE PEEL!!!!!! FFS
  22. Theyre just attention-seekers
  23. Blimey, that takes me back. Maddison was one of my favourite players.
