Never looked confident enough for me. Was a poor penalty. On the plus side we have started pretty well Imo.

The last 2 games will determine my opinion on if he should go or stay. Right now we are 8th. If you said to me at the start of the season we would finish 8th and get to a cup final I would be delighted. That would be a decent season for us. However if you said at the start of the season we would finish 8th, get to a cup final but fail miserably in Europe where we failed to even score an away goal, get dicked 0-5 at home in the cup against an Arsenal reserve team, fail to beat any of the top 6, score only 17 goals at home winning only 6 of them which were mostly against relegation teams, lose 15 games and have 5 games (if that is correct) where we failed to even have a shot at goal? I would say how the fook have we finished 8th? Win against a utd reserves tonight and on the final day of the season and I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I think if he does that he will deserve to go into the off season and try and get the players he wants. But start that season with the same boring football we have now where we play to not to lose rather than try to win and I would want him out. There are plenty of English managers who do that already.

If ar10 says he is leaving then expect an announcement saying he has signed a new deal. The guy has been wrong on everything.

Exactly and that's what they alluded to on soccer Saturday. Our last Europe game was on 6th December. Over 5 months ago. We have had 2 months where we have played only 2 games since then. As they said right now you can't use the amount of games we have played as an excuse. We have played less games this year than everyone except Citeh and Leicester. Using the fixture thing as an excuse is just bull****.

17 goals scored at home this season. That is second to bottom in that table. Only one more than Sunderland.... Whatever you think of Puel he cannot be described as someone who knows how to get the creative players playing. If he doesn't change that in our remaining games then I will think he isn't the right fit for us. I want us to try and win games, if you lose at least you tried. Setting out just to stop the other team scoring shows how different we are now in comparison to the past few years.

Same old **** we have seen for a lot of this season. Hardly any attacking, set up to stop teams scoring. Which is anti-football. When things go wrong the changes (if he ever does any) never seem to work. Arsenal are a good team but they were hardly amazing tonight. Add to that their recent away record isn't anything to write home about. If it was a team ie Chelsea who are in form and scoring tons of goals you could accept it. But Arsenal are average this season and we gave them far too much respect. 270 mins without a goal is **** poor.

Personally I think we have played utter **** second half. At no point do we look like creating a good chance let alone scoring. Arsenal are a decent team but if we were more positive we could have at least got at them a bit better.

Don't get those subs. We need goals. Davis or Romeu or another defensive player should have gone off.

All over us now. Will do well to keep it to just one goal imo.

Great save by Forster. He owed us that one. Can we have a few shots though please. Not a fan of playing for draws in league games.

Have no idea how people can compare Puel to Mopo. They were totally different and the stats speak for themselves. He took over a team struggling in the pl and turned us around. Puel took over a team that finished the highest we have ever been playing some of the best football we had played. Mopo got 56 points. We would be 13th in that season with the points Puel has currently. As much as I love the guy that was Adkins level. I am not bashing Puel here but if some people think mopo would of struggled with this squad or puel would have done as good with our 2013 squad they have to be smoking some real good ****.

We have got 2 points from 27 against the big teams this season. Not really doing well against big teams is it?

The thing I don't get with Puel is he doesn't change things when they are not working. Not looking forward to the Liverpool, Arsenal and utd games. Last season I had the belief we could get something from those kind of fixtures. But our record against the bigger teams this season has been poor.

Should be 7 or 8 to be honest. Really poor performances recently.

Didn't expect to win this at all so not too bothered. A very good team against an average one = loss. Only gripe is our tactics were very negative. The goals against in the past 20 or so games shows defending isn't really our strong point. Seemed a damage limitations exercise tbh.

Got subbed off after coming on as a sub. As he went off he went over to puel and black and said some words at them and walked down the tunnel. On my stream a guy in the comments said he mouthed 'you're a bunch of ****s' but someone who can rewind tv will need to go back and watch it again to confirm it. Either way haven't seen a player lair up at our manager for awhile.

To be fair they are a class team. No shame in losing to these guys. But our defence needs to do much better.

Thought we did very well. That's a very hard place to get a result so we did fantastic. Takes the pressure off now going into the hard run of games. Can play them without the fear of needing to get something. Well done Puel and we'll done saints.
